Very simple, yet extremely tedious game. Achievements end at level 20, but there are 37 levels. Can't repeat levels, so if you miss an achievement, you have to go back (I missed the one on level 20... that's the only reason I have 2.2 hours in the game. The foreground and background constantly flicker, not sure if something was don't incorrectly with the layers, but it's really annoying and it reveals how simple the game is-- empty box with additional lines put on the empty box for collision points. The dialogue before each mission is not skip-able; some of the mission briefs have rather unreasonable pauses-- as if the designer threw in a random, but very high number of seconds one might take to read 2 lines of text and didn't check. Some levels are almost good-- The dogfood level with 2 searchlights (middle of the game) is almost there. But every other dogfood mission after that (at least 3) are even easier and duller. Some levels are extremely easy, but the real challenge is waiting for the next item to load in. Late game at least 4 items will pop up at once-- that's interesting, might make it a bit challenging. The level right after that is place boxes of cereal, one at a time, in the ditch no penalties on how you throw them about. One at a time is mind-numbing. This game would be a 30min game if it actually ran at a decent pace. Overall, feels like mobile shovelware.

Honestly, I don't think it's worth $5. It's worth wasting a few minutes for free, but it's a bit boring and very touchy.
An entertaining little puzzle game, but it gets too long and repetitive. I experienced a visual bug which would make the game switch between fullscreen and windowed between levels and I had no way to change it except by going to the menu and restarting the level to swap whether I was in full or half screen (which would cut off part of the game so hopefully you didn't get any items stuck outside the window!).
Someone played bad rats and loved it. Gameplay is very inconsistent. Before you even touch the barrels, they start breaking. They also start to break when you touch them or slowly put them on the floor. Also, it's not possible to rotate the barrels so if they spin around, you can't pass them in the hole without them taking damage. Also, when you lose a level, you're put on the level select screen again and so you have to watch again some unskippable uninteresting dialog. I wouldn't be that hard if that was a free game. It's not worth 7€, it's worth cents. And even that might be too much.
Hello Pollution is a casual simulation with an interesting environmental theme that’s easy to pick up and play, but it never really sticks with you after the session ends. The mechanics are straightforward and it can be mildly enjoyable in short bursts, but there’s nothing particularly memorable or standout about the gameplay loop or presentation. It scratches that idle/simulation itch briefly, yet it doesn’t innovate or deepen enough to make a strong case for paying full price. If you’re curious and it’s very cheap or free, it’s worth a quick try — otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend picking it up at regular price.
Garbage game about garbage. Got it as part of a bundle and even if it was free I would want my money back. Specifically, the briefings are unskippable, the graphics are boring, there is no story, they minor attempts at humor are cringe inducing, and the weak, destroyable barrels are so flimsy that it ruins the game.
Hello Pollution! is a game where you are tasked to get rid of people's garbage using any means to get rid of it. You are an unnamed person getting rid of people's garbage. The various characters you meet will have different types of garbage that need to be disposed of in different ways, whether it be legal or not to be disposed of in such a manner. Most of the ways to get rid of them are putting them into the ground. Other types of garbage need to be burned away to either be incinerated to ash or to be broken down so it fits in the ground better. The gameplay consists of clicking and dragging the garbage into the hole in the ground and to configure them in there so that everything fits. Some of the garbage is breakable, which will let you fit it easier, some can be incinerated to ash, others can be reduced in size by burning part of it, and the rest are to be put straight into the ground and not be broken or else people will take notice as it contaminates the surrounding area. The last type that was explained are usually barrels of toxic waste, which is one of the more annoying pieces to dispose of as when too many barrels are broken, you fail the job and you need to start over. As far as everything else, that's really all you need to know; it's pretty straightforward about what you need to do and how to accomplish it. There are also a few hazards to the game like a searchlight that can spot you and can fail you if spotted too many times as well as animals like rats and birds who may take interest in the garbage and will want to take it for themselves. The visual aspect of it is very simplistic looking and flat. The background is bland, the garbage is basic looking, and the character heads that speak to you look a little creepy, which may be intentional because they are sketchy people that want to illegally dispose of their garbage, but how they move their mouth is in the same fashion as that of the Canadians from South Park, where their heads are split where their mouths are and their upper part of their head moves up and down, which does make it a bit comical. The audio aspect doesn't have a lot of variety. It has the same sort of music throughout, some noise from the animals, some sound from the collision and burning, and the voices of the characters is actually just a filler squeaking voice, which can also be a bit comical in tandem with the visual aspect. With all of this, it's not a whole lot of exciting material. I never bothered to finish the game, but I did at least make it about 30 levels into the game. It just got boring, repetitive, and frustrating with the toxic barrels that would break with slight bumps or when they are being dispensed from the side of the screen. I could see this being a mobile phone game app, so that's what you're looking forward to when you purchase this game.
Again this is another game i wish we had a sideways thumb, its okay very repetitive very fast, but a cute time waster, maybe not worth full price and many other better options still not the worse game but not the best
I don't ever recall buying this but thought it be worth a try. The game plays about 2.5 hours depending on speed and agility with the mouse. Might be a fun game to speed run. It is very finicky and the main challenge of the game is making sure your hand is steady, not much todo in the way of timers so you may take your time. I think at the cost it's going for is a bit pricey, but if you already have it, its a fun indie game that brings you a bit of that nostalgic flash feel. With some updates and refinement this could be a base for a really good game!
The physics in this game is fiddly as hell. I got stuck at level 5, because the toxic barrels you have have to move can explode from gently brushing a wall with a couple pixels of the corner of the barrel, or even just from holding it too hard???? I guess??? I dunno, it seemed to start leaking just from being picked up, and after failing the level 3 times, I was bored enough to move on. I could see this being a vaguely fiddly mobile game, where you have a bit more control via moving stuff with your fingers, but as a computer game, the controls are annoying enough that the lackluster plot you get to see can't make up for it. Might get more interesting as you go, but I'm already bored.
