A Simple Puzzle game where you put dysfunctional waste into a hole without alerting attention by either damaging the waste or getting spotted by spotlights. Just by looking at the trailer and stock game photos it really just a simple game. It does come with an interesting story of different characters trying to get rid of their waste.
It's a bit buggy, but not gamebreakingly so... I'm willing to overlook it for the gameplay and storyline.
Good concept for a small gamer, but poorly executed. Annoying delays when re-trying a level, you have to sit through the unskippable intro, and beating a level relies more on luck that the animals don't break ♥♥♥♥ than skill at placement.

If this is the developer's first game, then I'd say it's not bad for a first attempt, but man, is it just not a good game. From the technical side, the game kept moving slightly off-screen randomly when in full screen mode. Sometimes the screen would glitch out during the levels and you couldn't see the whole underground layout, which is a big part of the game. As for the gameplay itself, it was pretty lacking. I had a lot of issues with hit detection where the barrels in the game would seemingly randomly explode when barely touching things, while other times I could bump them around a bit just fine. Sometimes you're just jamming things against each other until everything fits. Another big issue is that, despite the above issues, I didn't fail a single level. The game was just way to easy. It never felt challenging and at most just had some levels that were annoying. The story was decent, but I feel like it would've benefited from the different characters overlapping a bit more. Also the text from the characters really needed to be skippable because I could usually read everything and would be stuck just waiting for the next line of dialogue to appear. All this to say, no I would not recommend this game. I would be interested in a future game made by the developer to see if their skills improved, however.
It isn't really worth $8 for the game even if it was somewhat enjoyable to play. There's a decent amount of levels but any level with a fail condition is annoying bordering on unenjoyable. There really isn't anything to this game that makes it worth buying or playing. Buy any cheap reputable indie game for much more enjoyment and replayability.
Glitchy, super short. maybe 45 min for run
Boring, VERY buggy, and just not fun in any way, shape, or form.
This game is fun until it gets broken I think around level 5 or 6 and then I can not progress.
Hello Pollution! is a game where you are tasked to get rid of people's garbage using any means to get rid of it. You are an unnamed person getting rid of people's garbage. The various characters you meet will have different types of garbage that need to be disposed of in different ways, whether it be legal or not to be disposed of in such a manner. Most of the ways to get rid of them are putting them into the ground. Other types of garbage need to be burned away to either be incinerated to ash or to be broken down so it fits in the ground better. The gameplay consists of clicking and dragging the garbage into the hole in the ground and to configure them in there so that everything fits. Some of the garbage is breakable, which will let you fit it easier, some can be incinerated to ash, others can be reduced in size by burning part of it, and the rest are to be put straight into the ground and not be broken or else people will take notice as it contaminates the surrounding area. The last type that was explained are usually barrels of toxic waste, which is one of the more annoying pieces to dispose of as when too many barrels are broken, you fail the job and you need to start over. As far as everything else, that's really all you need to know; it's pretty straightforward about what you need to do and how to accomplish it. There are also a few hazards to the game like a searchlight that can spot you and can fail you if spotted too many times as well as animals like rats and birds who may take interest in the garbage and will want to take it for themselves. The visual aspect of it is very simplistic looking and flat. The background is bland, the garbage is basic looking, and the character heads that speak to you look a little creepy, which may be intentional because they are sketchy people that want to illegally dispose of their garbage, but how they move their mouth is in the same fashion as that of the Canadians from South Park, where their heads are split where their mouths are and their upper part of their head moves up and down, which does make it a bit comical. The audio aspect doesn't have a lot of variety. It has the same sort of music throughout, some noise from the animals, some sound from the collision and burning, and the voices of the characters is actually just a filler squeaking voice, which can also be a bit comical in tandem with the visual aspect. With all of this, it's not a whole lot of exciting material. I never bothered to finish the game, but I did at least make it about 30 levels into the game. It just got boring, repetitive, and frustrating with the toxic barrels that would break with slight bumps or when they are being dispensed from the side of the screen. I could see this being a mobile phone game app, so that's what you're looking forward to when you purchase this game.
I don't ever recall buying this but thought it be worth a try. The game plays about 2.5 hours depending on speed and agility with the mouse. Might be a fun game to speed run. It is very finicky and the main challenge of the game is making sure your hand is steady, not much todo in the way of timers so you may take your time. I think at the cost it's going for is a bit pricey, but if you already have it, its a fun indie game that brings you a bit of that nostalgic flash feel. With some updates and refinement this could be a base for a really good game!
