Hello Pollution feels like someone had the idea of making a game about hiding trash underground. And that's as far as that idea goes. The story almost goes somewhere a few different times but doesn't actually go anywhere. It's boring. And repetitive. Once you play the first level, you know the entire gameplay loop. It never gets more difficult or interesting. In fact, I would say it only gets less interesting as you play it. The physics are incredibly loose leading to failures when you haven't even touched anything. The "story", if you can call it that, is just random characters cryptically telling you that they have committed crimes against humanity or nature and you have to put the barrels in a hole now. Sometimes you can burn stuff. That's it. That's the whole game. I bought this for $2.59 and I felt ripped off. The fact that the dev wants $12.99 normally makes this an ab-so-lute DO NOT BUY.
挺不知所以的游戏,大概是个辣鸡焚烧填埋的游戏 难点全在小心轻放部分的有毒物质桶上面(碰到墙或其他物品会逐渐损坏)

Hello Pollution! is a badly made 2D puzzle game where you stuff garbage into a landfill pit. Just drag and drop, there's no real need to use the gravity physics in the game. The game makes little sense. Fullscreen doesn't work properly and the game flickers all the time, displaying areas of the level that aren't available for you to shove garbage in. I have no idea why the developers thought this shovelware would be worth $18.50. Amazing.
This feels like a game that was rushed together in an afternoon. Although I most likely received this game as part of a larger bundle, just having it in my steam library feels like a waste of time.
An annoying game to play. While not a unique concept to move an object from A to B. The sensitivity of the objects you are moving makes it easy to fail. This is a relatively simple game that does nothing revolutionary. Seems like something someone would make for a game development class or as a personal project to teach themselves about game tools.
I got this game apart of a yogscast jingle jam bundle. It is fine. Is it worth $5? No. It is more like a coolmathgames game or a free game on itch.io you'd play for 5 minutes and get bored. Don't buy.
I had 15 viewers while playing this, and yet not one of us had any clue wtf was going on. This game goes from a one to 100 very quickly. The closest part to "a narrative story" is the tale of the loss of our sanity. Caught doing as you're told? LIFE IMPRISONMENT. Caught causing Chernobyl 2? Ah, that's fine, just $4000 penalty. I don't know what the devs were on when they made this, but tbh, I feel like I'm on them right now. 12 out of 10 fivehead. P.S. You also dispose of dead bodies. Make of that what you will.
https://youtu.be/P7qf7A5am0w Carefully placing pollution themed items in a hole is a thin amount of gameplay that won't last for more than a couple of levels. Loose physics add difficulty of the frustrating variety.
I like the concept and the art style, but the glitches (flashing background/underground) and off achievements (I burned 1 bag of trash, got the achievement for burning 50 bags) makes it a no-go in my case. :( Sorry.
How the hell do you describe this game? Firstly, it is very short. There's just under 40 levels to go through, you can complete the entire thing in under an hour, so it's not something that is going to last you days and days of playing. It's a relatively simple idea - you run a waste disposal company, items come from the left of the screen, you have to hide/burn/remove - just get them gone or out of sight. I was REALLY hoping this would turn into a game with lots of complex puzzles, how do you fit all those into the space given, but there's very very little (if any) of that - most items fit perfectly well without much thinking about it. After a few levels, it seems like you are just doing endless random things for random people, although the game DOES put together a story, levels are linked (slightly) and it does end up with an actual ending to what has been happening over the levels. Its very simple! It's not going to tax your brain, it's pretty much just a lot of click and drag, only a few levels has an actual 'puzzle' to them - but if you can get it for cheap (i think i had it in a Humble Bundle) then it's certainly going to fill an hour of your time up - i dont think i would pay the £5.79 the UK price goes for, but its on sale now for under £2 which.... yeah... worth a punt.
