Puzzles and gameplay is fine, but the ending is terrible. Like something you'd do to end off a story real quick without any extra effort.
舞台が一軒家からひとつの町へとスケールアップした…はずの作品。確かにマップは広い。ただ実際に遊んでみると、その広さを活かしきれているかはちょっと怪しい。 町の雰囲気自体はかなり良く、一見普通なのにどこか引っかかる違和感がしっかり演出されているのが印象的。 BGMも全体的にクオリティが高く、特にチェイス中の曲が住人ごとに変わる点も高評価。 ただし、町はやたら広いのに肝心の各ステージとなる建物はびっくりするほど狭い。 さらに少し物音を立てただけで住人がすぐ様子を見に来るうえ、静かにしていても普通に見つかることがある。結果として落ち着いて探索したり、じっくり謎解きに取り組む余裕がほとんどない。 謎解きについては前作より多少マイルドになった印象はあるものの、シリーズ伝統の「それ気づく？」要素はしっかり健在。優しくなったというより、理不尽が少しだけ丸くなったくらいのバランス。 あと、住人たちが妙に普通。もっと狂気を前面に出してくるのかと思いきや、ほぼ一般市民。 その結果、家に忍び込んで物色してるプレイヤーのほうが完全に不審者に見えるという現象が起きる。 総じて、粗はかなり目立つけど独特なあのシリーズの雰囲気が好きならなんだかんだ触ってしまうタイプの一本。完成度を求めると首をかしげる場面も多いそんな作品です。
