I-I mean, I don’t know even how to start this. I got this game because an old friend told me about around the Festival of Reckoning of ‘84, and I had no idea what I was getting into. The opening cutscene sucked me in immediately- from the cinematography, the patriotic music and the sheer time and quality that was put into it. I came to the war when the Illuminate revealed themselves, and of course, knew absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about the game. But, now, here I am 1,183 hours of game time later still enjoying the ♥♥♥♥ out of this game. It’s like a cult, somehow- you get into it, then you can get your friends (and family!) to follow along into the unbridled chaos of Helldivers 2. Even after getting maxed out, the replayability still can hit you in the face at random times- flying Charger corpses, tweaking-out Overseer legs, floating bot tank husks, or getting shot into low-orbit in the MK-10 Bastion after touching a civilian car in a colony on Adhara. Yes, Arrowhead has made a few mistakes, but, so do all companies- they get caught up in what they make. I don’t care. Sometimes bugs make this game better in some of the dumbest ways possible (beware the sliding Charger). The content table is now gradually and continuously expanding, so there’s new stuff to come to after every M.O.. Don’t listen to these negative reviews of people hating on Arrowhead when they’re looking at negatives to hate on. If you enjoy the game, then enjoy it! On my word as a Lv.150 Servant of Freedom, do how you want to do. Don’t listen to others- unless it’s strategies against the Illuminate. They suck.
DEMOCRACY SAVE ME!!!
this game is so fun to grind and play with friends, this includes the funny momment in helldivers. i need to recomend this to everyone
Insanely worth it game. Impeccable graphics, gameplay and great progression. The devs are outstanding, constantly updating it and its lore. Couldnt ask for better devs and a better game
The game can be fun, I have enjoyed many hours playing. And the community is generally friendly. Best to play with your friends though. Then there are times when you want to get verbally cruel with the devs for the BS balancing and the random deaths that cost you the mission. At those times it is best to quit the game and find something else to do. Overall, the Arrowhead devs do their best to fix bugs and maintain a balanced gameplay when new events and weapons are added. I would recommend this game to any who like players vs environmental challenge.
Good game, Bad dev's who don't understand their community and tends to betray them so keep that in mind if the game is in a good state that might mean their going to betray the community again so beware. But overall this games a great horde shooter and even if this game becomes pretty bad at the core this game is great and left some memories I'll never forget so 100% give it a shot.
Sweet, sweet taste of Liberty
Simply an amazing game! I had 1600 hours on PS5, still i bought it again on PC, and it feels SOOOOO MUCH BETTER! Do not start playing it if u dont want to get addicted
Great game all around. The devs have made some questionable choice here lately (ex. Nerfing every fun gun in game cause it hurts the box feelings I guess). However with that being said the game is great, the sense of accomplishment you get when a mission is over and you see you contributed to the liberation or defense of a planet is unmatched. However, I do believe the devs make the “campaign” aspect a little weird as in the devs will do whatever to make sure the campaign is lost or won. Kind of like TCS 2.0 all us fellow helldivers slayed countless of bugs for just for the anti bug spray to not work and the bugs can still get through it. I’m nitpicking as the core gameplay and repayablility is there and will always be too me. Seeing reviews the game doesn’t run smoothly. I have 0 complaints, my game runs smooth as better and I have 0 issue being above 250 fps at 1440p quality.
