About
Join the chaos of war and be a part of the most iconic battles of WWII across the Eastern and Western Fronts as well as North Africa. Key battles include Carentan, Omaha Beach, Stalingrad, Kursk and more. Hell Let Loose drops you into the action, where you will have to fight across fields, bridges, forests, towns and more war-torn environments! Lumbering tanks will be dominating the battlefield and crucial supply chains fuelling the frontlines, you are essential to the colossal, combined arms warfare.
Take to the battlefield in this squad-based, 50v50 multiplayer game, and choose one of our 14 roles available within the Command, Infantry, Recon and Armour unit types. Play as an Officer, Spotter, Medic, Tank Commander and more, to experience every aspect of World War II combat. Each role is equipped with different historical weapons, vehicles, and equipment that are intricately detailed, bringing the realism to the brutal and bloody warfare. Unit focussed gameplay is crucial and when done well can command the tide of battle.
The combat takes place across huge, to-scale maps, recreated by utilising aerial and satellite imagery of real battle locations in stunning detail using Unreal Engine 4. These realistic battlefields are divided up into large capture sectors allowing emergent and constantly unique gameplay to evolve between the two forces of fifty players. Work as a team and make continual large scale, tactical decisions as to where to attack or defend.
Hell Let Loose is not about kill to death ratios – teamwork is central to gameplay. Communication is essential. Players work together beneath the leadership of Officers and their Commander to take strategic targets on the battlefield and dominate the opposition. In Hell let loose, it’s always better to tackle things as a team. If you think you can handle the chaos of war, we’ll see you on the frontlines!

Hell Let Loose is one of the few shooters where firing your weapon is only a small part of your job. The other part is spending ten minutes jogging towards the frontline because someone forgot to build a garrison. Behind the occasional marathon is one of the best World War II experiences around. Every firefight is tense, every tank encounter makes you reconsider your life choices, and a coordinated squad can completely change the outcome of a battle. Communication isn't optional here. Lone wolves usually end up becoming historical landmarks before they've even spotted the enemy. Of course, not every match is organised military precision. Sometimes your commander is an absolute genius. Other times he's screaming in command chat while someone drives the only supply truck into a lake. Hell Let Loose doesn't reward ego. It rewards patience, teamwork... and accepting you're about to go for another walk.

I've played a LOT of milsim and milsim adjacent games ranging from modded arma to squad to even games like foxhole. All of them have a steep learning curve and a punishing playstyle. The very nature of being easy to kill in large maps with limited information provides an experience that only a certain niche finds tolerable and an even smaller niche finds enjoyable. So this review is coming from someone who knew precisely what they were getting into and picked up the game anyway. Hell Let Loose provides a somewhat baffling and largely unfun experience that asks the question 'what would happen if we took the concepts from half a dozen different games and implemented none of them with the care and depth that made it work in the original'. Your foxhole style resource management is here with none of the depth and exists largely only for the commander who gets to play a weird pseudo RTS to give or not give assets and things rather than them existing on a normal respawn timer. It also replaces the ticket system for deaths meaning matches will literally go on forever in some cases until the timer goes out. The HAB and rally system from Squad is kinda here but instead of it being a way to create respawns and strongpoints, they are just haphazardly thrown down everywhere for folk to respawn into. There's token defense building thats entirely overcomplicated and undereffective to the point where almost nobody bothers with it. There's really only one game mode and a variant of the same game mode. You have huge regions you can 'take' but only single zone cap points meaning much of the gameplay devolves super quickly into throwing hordes of corpses at a point and whomever dies slightly less fast usually wins the point, with more people camping and hiding in corners and prone on roads than trying any sort of strategic meneuver. There are some other tools that usually require special setup to use effectively which means most people aren't bothering. Vehicle play is actually fairly sharp outside of artillery, which is dull even by milsim standards and is neither complex enough to reward a full team doing it nor simple enough for it to really be one manned, leaving the second guy to pretty much just tap R. The ability to ride on top of a tank to battle is quite fun, though the physics engine clearly struggles with them sometimes. I have gone to space more than once, which is a milsim right of passage in its own way. The lack of protections for the main base leads to fairly frequent trolling of primary spawns and deep striking tanks that aren't fun for anyone involved. Marking the map is only possible for the SL and only in extremely limited capacity. Other units can ping with double mouse or right click but it vanishes insanely quickly. Marking things like pushes, infantry movements, or other such things isn't possible, nor the areas of expected enemy spawn beacons, snipers, or the like. There's a command chat and a team chat but the sheer lack of communication stands out for this kind of game. The mission score screen replaces actual actionable intel such as 'how many kills, how many revives, how many resources moved' etc, with a generic category score that doesn't seem to mean anything. Racking up 75 kills as an artillery team and racking up a couple as an infantry seemed to produce about the same score, All in all, this game is largely half baked, buggy, unfocused mess with a baffling lack of content for a game that's been out for five years. There's so much potential here that is entirely left to rot in no mans land because of how the rest of the game is designed. Its not all that neat graphically and the sound design is token at best, and so I find the highs of hell let loose to not be all that high and not all that common. Buy at a significant discount or skip entirely.

Games alright, heres a list of my problems 1. lmgs get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over by A. everytime i try to bench the lmg i have to search for a location for 1 min, due to there being either grass in my face that blinds me and i can;t see ♥♥♥♥ unless its above me or i try to bench it and theres a crate or some rock behind the ledge or wall i am trying use and the lmg clings to that, or theres broken glass on the window that gets my lmg fixed in place B. everytime there is a enemy infront of me i again have to search for a hot min because hipfiring this things is useless low accuracy makes you slow which makes sense, but the problem is that i have to be holding the bar to use it, which means if i am going through a building i have to waddle my way around the building or just run right into the enemy and have to wait a sec before i can fire 2. a glitch where i close the game and reopen it happened twice in a row and it completely resets my setting, all of them, the graphics i like to turn down because i can't see a thing due to motion blur (probaly because my pc is ♥♥♥♥), i also like to turn the ads sensitivity down because its to high for me, 3. like 60% of the gameplay is just walking and respawning sometimes, 4.most the combat is just dudes hiding in a bush or their tiny head is just peeking over a rock or someshit and you can't see them, which makes sense, its not COD where every one is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crazy going in all directions but it just leads to point 3 5. i keep losing battles because, theres like 2 squads who just go far in enemy territory and don't redeploy and try walking 500 metres to defense or just hide at the enemy objective which is 2 objectives up 6. everytime i need to move through tight corridors my team mates block the way and the only way to get out is they move or you kill them btw i did have a couple hours on xbox before this
ist leider nicht spielbar, Call of , oder Battlefield funktopniert einwandfrei. aber das spiel iss nicht zu empfehlen, total bescheuert
