HELI-COMMANDO 2017

I'm really lovin' that retro gem! But be warned, this game is currently lacking the Tag "Difficult" ... it's really one heck of a example for "easy to learn, hard to master"! HELI COMMANDO and Dark Souls have more in common as you might think first place: - There's no tutorial, you have to learn by yourself - Unforgiving, there's no "health" or "shield" or such ♥♥♥♥♥ things. You hit something, you die. - You will die a lot ... - When you die, the entire level resets - You can't freely save, the game gives you jumpcodes every couple of levels - The feeling after mastering a level you played and failed like 10 times is incredibly rewarding!! Don't get me wrong here, I meant this absolutely in a positive way :-) The only enemy in this game is YOU. Sounds crazy? Here's why you crash your heli first place: - you are too greedy or - you are too cocky or maybe - you've been unconcentrated for just too long When you want to collect everything to let your highscore skyrocket, you really have to think ahead and try to stay calm and focused all the time. Ah, I forgot to mention: You're constantly running out of fuel and have to refuel at specific places that are placed all around the level. You really should look out for them and plan your next action accordingly. Since I'm an 80s kid I grew up with games like this and imidiately was reminded about that in the second the intro sound of HELI COMMAND kicked in. The music is very authentic such as almost every ingame sound, totally 8-Bit, totally arcade. I play with an XBOX 360 Gamepad, you get used to the controls really quickly ;-) If you like nostalgica retro action with unique style (no Unity hehe) and awesome audio, that's difficult, no ... it's hard and feel like playing a game that might just have come out of an arcade gaming machine ... then this game IS TOTALLY FOR YOU! Worth a look, maybe there'll be a demo in the future so give it a try!

Sorry Pal, there's only room for cats and snowmen on the copter, no humans allowed! This game doesn't remind me any of the C64 games (yeah-yeah, Airwolf, Choplifter, H.E.R.O etc) BUT reminds me those mid-late 90's shareware shovelware titles which were bundled on CD's, before the Windows XP era. HELI-COMMANDO 2017 - минималистичная аркада с ретро графикой и музыкой. В этой игре придется управлять вертолетом в замкнутом пространстве и нужно будет переправить его по ходу из точки А в точку Б. По ходу нужно побывать на чекпоинтах, иначе в следующую миссию попасть не удастся. Основной смысл игры кроме уровней естественно очки на рекорд. Их дают если подбирать различные предметы и людей. Препятствия можно и нужно уничтожать. Некоторые убиваются с первого раза, есть более прочные. Визуально хоть все и миниатюрно, но смотрится приятно. Музыка ритмичная все время подгоняет. Самый главный нюанс конечно горючка, если не заправиться вовремя будет крах.

HELI-COMMANDO 2017 is a 2D retro "arcade" style action game intended to look like a C-64 game, something it comes close to but doesn't quite nail, leaving a somewhat lazy looking mess of a game (considering this came out in 2017 alongside games like Breath of the Wild, Dirt 4 and Prey to name a few). Gameplay is fairly standard stuff for home PC games of the 1980's that died back in the 1980's, as you "fly" a 2D helicopter over a side view selection of platforms, shooting baddies and rescuing people. Only badly, because this really is slapped together badly, and while some small portion of the blame goes to Microsoft's rather crappy XNA Studio, that's been shown to have made much better games, so there's really no excuse there either. Let's go over the defects. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected in the general public reception. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 2 players. That's right, only 2. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in the game is to be expected. Gamers just didn't take this low quality game seriously, and for good reason. HELI-COMMANDO 2017 is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend.

Un bon petit jeu rigolo pour se détendre,avec plein de sons marrants quand on ramasse des items.On à envie de tous les ramasser pour savoir quel bruit ils fonts.Un défi à la hauteur car pas facile de finir les niveaux.Ce jeu m'amuse beaucoup,il en faut peu pour etre heureux,mais quand le gameplay est marrant tu t'en lasse pas.Je conseil.
