About
In Heavy Cargo - The Truck Simulator, you transport oversized cargo through an extensive, freely accessible and lively game world, including dynamic weather and day-night cycle.
Before you start your journey with your truck and its various trailers and cargo, you often have to explore the route with the spotting vehicle first that you control yourself.
If obstacles prevent you from fulfilling your mission, you will have to dismantle crash barriers, cut off road signs, determine bridge heights or lay out plates using a crane in order to transport your heavy cargo from A to B undamaged.

Heavy Cargo - The Truck Simulator was developed in close cooperation with our partner ‘Gruber Logistics’ and presents the work of a company that is specialized in heavy cargo transports in a realistic way.
Everything is in your hands – from planning the challenging missions to performing them.
You can choose between two different game modes, each offering a unique gameplay experience.
In Economy Mode, you manage your own company. You earn money by completing missions, hire employees, and expand your business step by step. You can purchase new trucks, trailers, and attachments to grow and customize your fleet.
In addition, various milestones await you - by reaching them, you earn special rewards on top of the attachments unlocked after completing missions, allowing your company to grow even further.
Employee Mode, on the other hand, offers a completely different gameplay experience. Here, you take on the role of an employee and focus entirely on your driving skills. By completing missions, you earn stars to prove your abilities.
As a reward, you unlock new attachments for your trucks. In this game mode, you don’t have to worry about money - the focus is purely on performance and progression.

Unloading large and heavy freight with the help of cranes is also part of your almost 30 orders in different weight and size classes.
Supported by escort vehicles, you drive on country roads, highways and lovingly designed towns and villages in a huge open-world route network.
Master motivating missions with a detailed evaluation at the end, to unlock more than 100 add-on parts, over 20 interior decorations, new truck models and new missions.

Good, only the name is Heavy Cargo Truck Simulator but you can drive multiple vehicles and perform separate duties and I like that so much, Developers make it original not a copy paste from somewhere.
better than on the road
jeu vraiment réaliste
Top strop hraaaaa
I just can't imagine how anyone at the developer played this game and thought, "Yep, the steering feels good for this driving game. Ship it." I also cannot imagine anyone else had positive feedback during development. There is considerable negative feedback since. The vehicle handling is absolutely atrocious. With keyboard controls, you're constantly sawing at the wheel because the steering is painfully slow. Then the wheel returns even more slowly, so you have to manually correct that too. A controller is slightly better. A force feedback wheel? I found it practically unusable. I have a T248. The game didn't automatically map any controls, and even after calibrating and configuring it, the steering doesn't behave like an analog wheel. It feels like it's registering button presses once the wheel reaches a certain point, and the self-centering is nearly nonexistent - and even when the wheel slowly moves, nothing happens until it finally registers at a certain point. The problems don't stop there. I couldn't complete a measurement mission for reasons I still don't understand. Truck accelerates faster than the passenger cars around it and braking is absurdly aggressive - more like an F1 car than a pickup, and certainly not a semi. I had AI traffic change lanes directly into my trailer, and the AI regularly stalls at traffic lights, so only three or four cars make it through each cycle in lines of cars. It's also one of the UE games where they are too lazy to make it borderless window capable. The frustrating part is that there's actually a lot to like. The concept is great, the map is huge, choosing jobs is enjoyable, the graphics are perfectly fine, and it seemed to run well. There's a solid game buried in here. But I can't get past the fact that controlling the vehicle - the entire point of this game - is simply not enjoyable. Even with a controller, driving at speed is a constant fight to keep the vehicle between the lines while bouncing from one side to the other and trying to not hit anything. The worst part? These handling complaints have been around since 2024 or earlier. The developers have acknowledged it in multiple places, yet the driving still feels like this through a couple of updates. Then, while searching for fixes, I see announcements for an upcoming DLC... I mean, maybe make the driving fun before asking people to buy more content. Side note: if ATS/ETS2 already gives you exactly the experience you're looking for, that's great, go enjoy those games. Not every trucking game needs to follow the same formula. Variety is a good thing, especially for those of us who've spent hundreds of hours with ATS/ETS2 and are ready for something different.
Das gleiche wie "On the Road" schöne Idee, leider mies umgesetzt.
