It´s an Ok game. Animations are very stiff so the combat in itself can get boring. Level design is great and I love the dungeon editor and complexities. Would be great to have more enemy variety, better animations and overall more visual variety (even just a few different wall decorations like flags, etc. would´ve been nice). The downsides are mostly that the music does not match at all with the game, and even though you can mute it, there is no way to mute the combat FX which are obnoxiously loud. Additionally there is no verticality, sprinting or much action, you just clear levels, spend the gold on upgrading yourself and keep going. Good for its price though.
"Here are some reviews of the game from people who played Heavy Blade: https://imgur.com/a/xBSYZVU " Developer links to positive reviews on mobile (lol?). Despite the fact that this is on mobile and all reviews are over a year old, here are a few more of the reviews: https://i.imgur.com/TzrqpgF.png The last update on mobile was a year ago. I am sure progression for the PC will go swimingly and that this is not a blatant money grab. $2.99 on mobile and $19.99 on PC? Must be that epic refresh rate that is available to us PC users!! I have respect for legit indie developers. Putting trash on Steam for $19.99 and blaming your lack of budget as the reason you don't have a halfway decent game is laughable. How did Super Meat Boy do it? Terraria? Cuphead? Minecraft? They must have had massive budgets. I won't bother to respond again. The fact is that this game is trash and you should be professionally embarrassed. If I save even one person from being scammed it will be worth it.
