Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
In my first review for Heave Ho, my only complaint was there wasn't more. So obviously Heave Ho 2 was going to have a positive review from me. But as with any sequel, it's not without some flaws. And some major ones I'm pretty disappointed about. THE LEVELS: Every single level in this campaign has an overall theme that connects them together, yet every single level feels like it has its own unique gimmick that separates them from the rest. They're fun and doing the challenges with my friends are fun too. While the first campaign were tried and true platforming challenges like the first one, every campaign after that has felt like a massive step away from that and are instead mostly puzzle based now. Which is fine, do not get me wrong, they are still very fun and feel like Heave Ho. I simply prefer the platforming over the puzzles and that seems to be the majority of this game. Furthermore, I miss collecting the coin in every level. Like I said, the challenges are fun, sure, and they even have a "relic challenge" in some of the levels that is literally the same thing as the coin, but I wish every level had it. Obviously they don't because they are puzzle based and not platforming focused, so these complaints are kind of a package deal. I wanted more of the first game in this sequel and got something different which is refreshing, but also slightly disappointing, The minigames being gone is kind of sad too. The minigames were one of my favorite things about the first game. Another big complaint I have is that this game completely throws the single player campaign completely out the window. If you try to start with one player, you're ♥♥♥♥ out of luck. There are plenty of games that require multiple people in order to play, but I find it strange that the first game no problem with providing a solo experience while this one refuses to. THE CHARACTERS: Here's where we run into some actual trouble. The first game let you customize your character. Your face, your arms, your color, and your voice. But here, all of that is gone. You get a single character and can't change them at all. On top of that, the voices do not feel dynamic at all anymore. The first game had these silly voices that reacted to the level around them. When they farted, fell, swung, went really fast, etc. Now all of the voices feel like they just make the same noise like laughing or hissing over and over again and the voices are all really irritating too. Skully and Buzzy are some of the worst cases. Seriously, go play a level with them and listen right now. VERUS MODE: My complaints about the versus mode in the first game was it felt like we were seeing the same levels over and over again and they were all the same theme. I was really hoping Heave Ho 2 would provide some variety. And they did, but not in the way I was expecting. Showdown mode is good. They have a classic race to the finish and basically a second race to the finish mode with the handle trial, but also a new one with Survival Trial, which I'll be honest I'm not too big of a fan of. The point is you can go after your opponents to try and make them fall, but you're honestly safer just sitting still and waiting for the others to die, which is boring. So yeah, not a big fan. On top of that, the levels are all the exact same theme. Which is fine, cause it works, and there's more levels here than the first game's versus mode, and I am glad the versus mode still has a platforming focus like the first game, it's just not the new versus mode I was expecting.

I have not played this sequel fully but HOLY. This is a massive improvement to the first game, which I already loved. Every single thing I had disliked in the first version has disappeared. Everything runs smooth and honestly somehow while keeping the graphics pretty simple, the game looks extremely polished and in a way - beautiful. For 40zl this is a steal, especially if you're looking for a couch multiplayer game to pass the time.
good sequel
nobody is playing it
Polecam!
