Heathen - The sons of the law

I watched this game for about a year, waiting to see if it would go on sale. It never did. I finally bought it and was very disappointed with the purchase. Its boring, the graphics and game play are so-so at best. While the store page makes it look enticing, its plays like a one person developer who made it as a hobby.

i really wish this game had an fov slider me and some friends what an fov slider on it over all the little i played before my eyes got strained for lack of fov its really good and interesting game

I changed my review to recommend because the pros exceed the cons. Pros Graphics are impressive. Great sounds. 5.1 surround sound. Eerie atmosphere noises. Supports super wide screens. Mine 5120x1440 curved. FOV is good. Story is interesting. I'm a huge fan of the book "Island of Dr. Moreau". Hope there is more. Open world island to explore. Controls work well. Mouse-keyboard. Camera is smooth. Cons No quick saves. Hidden objectives. A couple hidden to where it is near impossible to find, which makes people rage quit & not come back to the game. That is why hardly anyone plays this & you dont see many you tubers playing it or showing the game play. I encountered a few bugs where my character could no longer sprint & had to restart the game to fix it. There are a few graphic glitches where you can see under or outside the map, tree's & bushes floating in the air, etc. Though super wide screen is supported, some of the menu or action icons are out of view or only partial view. Hope they continue the story & fix the few bugs. "UPDATE" Apr.-2021 - This game is sooooo much better using "Wemod" :) "UPDATE"April - 2022 "Wemod" no longer works. Now there is a bug where you just die while walking around the map. Broken game. Unplayable now.

Nezávislá, nedokončená a i přesto stojí za to? Začneme od ceny, ta k tomu co aktuálně poskytuje , odpovídá cenou některým plně dokončeným titulům a pokud ji seženete ve slevě, tím lépe. Příběh se odehrává na ostrově Dr.Moreau , který si tak trošku hraje s lidskými a zvířecími geny. Hra se si bere inspiraci v dílu od H.G.Wellse a pracuje s ním, takže se pohybujete po ostrově zaplněném mutantními tvory (sám si jedním z nich, což má i své výhody) , hledáte zbraně, klíče, občas nějaká hádanka, či žralok. Lokace v nichž se pohybujete jsou otevřené průzkumu (teda až na doly, ty jsou zas trošku klaustrofobní). Grafika je na to že to dělají dva lidé moc pěkná a několikrát jsem se kochal ze svahu pohledem na slunce zalité moře(pak mě zežral mutant). Takže pokud si rádi zastřílíte, prolézáte ostrov a pokocháte se pěknou scenérii krajiny (občas se najdou horší,to zase bych lhal kdyby ne) s temnější atmosférou,berte. Jen berte v potaz že hra nemá konec,je hotová jen první část,i tak ale vydrží na pěkných pár hodin.

This game has a very eerie atmosphere, nice graphics, and a great enemy design. You can really feel that the island hides a mystery around every corner. You become immersed in this beautiful yet brutal world and keep moving forward. Eventually, you realize there’s no ending to the story yet, as the game is still in Early Access. Still, with around 9 hours of solid gameplay, it’s definitely worth giving this title a chance.
