Reviews
This is a fantastic retro action-platformer with several concessions to modern game design that make it feel even better (checkpoints, multiple characters with different playstyles, shortcuts, equipment, etc.). That being said, the game is still pretty difficult, and there's no easy or "Story" mode for less skilled players. If you aren't the type who is comfortable with memorizing all of a boss' attack patterns over multiple deaths just to beat them once, this game isn't going to be enjoyable for you.
Excellent sprite work, awesome music, and all on top of a monster-slaying premise. It reminds me a lot of some of the classic Castlevania games, though much faster paced and with greater character variety. All killer and no filler, this game is an easy recommend for anybody looking to jump quickly into something challenging but rewarding. *As a disclaimer, I haven't beaten the game (yet), so it's possible something down the line soils the experience. If that ends up being the case, I'll update the review to reflect whatever didn't work out well.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Fun game and I love the challenge. The sewer part is a maze and it was the only frustrating part of the game but the game is awesome overall. I wish the game gets a sequel. The game developer is a one-man army of amazing talent and there is so much more to do with this world.
https://youtu.be/BvB4RHy_j8w Hitting the DOS retro hard but still having smooth responsive controls is a good combo even outside the general nostalgia play.
This game is a truly grueling experience to beat and even more of one to 100%, but I love it SO much. Six playable characters spread among three main classes which all have really unique gameplay between them, a bunch of useful upgrades that change up gameplay well, and six nicely paced levels to get through with two short bonus levels. The Beast class is easily my favorite because of the power, speed, and Bloodborne-style health regen. The movement and combat feels nice and fresh as opposed to some indie games which keep archaic details of old games out of habit. The DOS-styled pixel art and music are both great, and give the setting a great deal of atmosphere. Some things do feel rough, sadly. The gunner class' dodge is the weakest and least useful of the three classes because it can't work as an attack or be used in midair, which hurts their versatility a lot. Missing enemies, items, or secret paths that can be difficult to find can ruin challenge runs of levels which, in later levels, can require an hour or more on top of encyclopedic knowledge of the game, and these challenge runs are also necessary for extra silver to buy upgrades with. This game will be a joy to play if you enjoy challenging, mostly linear, and mostly fair 2D platformers, but only if you have a lot of free time and patience for it. I just wish it had more levels, though they are nice and long. Also, Salamander is best girl.
I rarely write reviews, but this one is so exceptionally good that I just had to. This is a game driven by a passionate developer with a clear vision of exactly what they wanted and it shows. First, the gameplay: Satisfying combat with polished mechanics and interesting enemies that reward good decisions and smart usage of the character's abilities. The three character classes are all interesting and feel very different from each other. The secrets are fun to find and provide upgrades that feel useful without trivializing content. It's a challenging game that doesn't shy away from sending you back when you die. Some may view that as a con but in my opinion it amplifies the satisfaction you get when finally reaching the next checkpoint. My only complaint is that if you try to jump down through a platform right after attacking, you may perform a normal jump on accident. This is probably an easy fix for the developer and regardless there is a workaround of holding down+jump during the attack to buffer a jump down instead of mashing it. Graphics: The EGA 16-color palette may not everybody's cup of tea, but it was absolutely pushed to the extreme limit here with lots of cool effects and a terrific atmosphere. The simple graphics are also an advantage as they allow you to clearly comprehend everything that is going on and properly react to enemy attacks. Sound & Music: Nothing super notable but they do their respective job and nothing ever gets irritating. Summary: One of the most enjoyable experiences I had in the past 10 years. As someone who had been playing for over 35 years, games like this keep the spark of hope alive despite an endless sea of slop games we get every year. Kudos to the developer. I felt guilty paying so little for this so I ended up gifting this to 4 friends.
I usually don't write reviews but I have been hooked on this game since I first started playing. I haven't even finished it yet and I can already tell it is one of my favorites. The maps, controls, and music, all feel like something out of game from 30 years ago that would have been called a classic today. The fact that they enemy and level design is tight enough to handle 6 different types of characters an still feel designed specifically for one of them is a hell of an achievement. The developer clearly understands good game design and I hope they can create a sequel or spiritual successor with a good budget and assistance one day. It almost seems criminal for how cheap it is.
没有地图是真的恶心啊。
Great game! I didn`t play the game without checkpoints, so I can understand the older reviews being frustrating. The game is not hard once you get the hang of it, but the current score definitely doesn`t do this game justice.
