Reviews
A decent game that overplays its sprite animation in the first two levels. The music is pretty grating and the stiff controls coupled with insta-kills and long gauntlet sections lead to a non-enjoyable experience. It's got an old school feel but unfortunately it doesn't control well enough to truly enjoy. Unless you like grindy tough old school experiences. I'd say pass on this one.
this game rules so hard. it's one of the single unlaziest games ever made. everything is high effort and each successive level steps it up. do you like beautiful, maximal pixelart? do you like well-conceived 2D action platforming? there are really only five core levels but they'll take you a bit to get through. each class -- of which there are three -- play these levels completely differently so there's a lot to master here. i find it funny how people call this game unfair. it's an MS-DOS throwback but it really just isn't in terms of difficulty. is it hard? hell yeah it is but it has a lot of modern ideas like checkpoints and class-specific defensive mechanics. i don't want to say "git gud" and yet. i'm sorry but do we recall the days of actually cheap bosses? limited lives? when games were designed around getting players to drop as many quarters in them as possible? when memory was limited so games were horridly frustrating and/or forced players to entirely repeat brutal sections of the game in order to complete them? can we please get real? i get the feeling a lot of people complaining about the difficulty here simply have no notion of what a truly unfair game is. go give Ghosts 'n' Goblins a shot and then get back to me. i personally appreciate this game's uncompromising nature. but then, i do think it's one of the best games ever made in its class. it also probably costs less than your order at your local cafe.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.67/day in the week to Jul 21 → 0.6/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Holy Hell... As i was buying the game and started i wasnt expecting much, but that turned out as a big mistake because i started to enjoy the game very much and fell nearly instant in love with it. The combat feels pretty good in this game and the god tier soundtrack of this game is insanely good! + Combat is fun + Cool Bosses + Pixel Art Style Game + 3 Character Classes you can choose from - "Gunner" "Mage" "Beast" - The Mage and Beast are awesome to play but... + You can customize youre playstyle by equiping items you find on the missions + Insanely good soundtrack, i even buyed it for this game :P + Challenging Levels without beeing too hard - The Gunner feels... idk feels like youre playing on Hard Mode with him since he sucks compared to the other 2 - Rather Short Game Since there only 6 Mission plus 2 Bonus Short Missions you can unlock later sadly - The Second Store opens only if you beaten the game, what sadly is bad since you can really profit from the funny items you get there like the dragon egg that gives you a dragon pet companion :( IDK what to say more other then you should really give this game a try, its ultra awesome and had a lot of fun with it, and its quite cheap too. Edit : Cant wait for Haunted Lands 2 if this ever happens <3
Excellent sprite work, awesome music, and all on top of a monster-slaying premise. It reminds me a lot of some of the classic Castlevania games, though much faster paced and with greater character variety. All killer and no filler, this game is an easy recommend for anybody looking to jump quickly into something challenging but rewarding. *As a disclaimer, I haven't beaten the game (yet), so it's possible something down the line soils the experience. If that ends up being the case, I'll update the review to reflect whatever didn't work out well.

This is a fantastic retro action-platformer with several concessions to modern game design that make it feel even better (checkpoints, multiple characters with different playstyles, shortcuts, equipment, etc.). That being said, the game is still pretty difficult, and there's no easy or "Story" mode for less skilled players. If you aren't the type who is comfortable with memorizing all of a boss' attack patterns over multiple deaths just to beat them once, this game isn't going to be enjoyable for you.
Fun game and I love the challenge. The sewer part is a maze and it was the only frustrating part of the game but the game is awesome overall. I wish the game gets a sequel. The game developer is a one-man army of amazing talent and there is so much more to do with this world.
I rarely write rewievs, but i had in this case. As a 90´s kid, this game oozes nostalgia and i love the gameplay too. The game is hard as ♥♥♥♥, but i never had an unfair section. In that regard its kinda like soul games in terms of difficulty: you have to learn the patterns, but killing a boss after an hour of attempts is reaaally satifying. Awesome game all in all and the negative reviews because of difficulty are not justified.
very fun game bosse are fun =)
