This game is bad. The textures are pretty bad, and the art direction is ass, making the game quite ugly to look at. Moreover the map design is nonsensical: the game makes you slowly run around empty corridors, all the while depliting your stamina. But most importantly, the farming part isn't fun.
Got this game in a bundle with two other Natsume Harvest Moon games and it's actually pretty decent if you get it cheap. I got this, Winds of Anthos and Light of Hope in a bundle for $10, or about $3.33 each. I was surprised by how well some of the characters are written. It's not ground breaking or anything. I wouldn't go into this expecting Trio of Towns or even Harvest Moon: Grand Bazaar levels of writing but I think some of the characters are written well enough for me to gravitate towards one of them for their personality. The gameplay is also kind of fun. Each town has their own "season," so you can go from town to town and get different crops from all kinds of seasons, including rare "hybrids" that grows when you plant a crop from one season in a different season. Having to manage being able to survive extreme heat or cold while working on getting fitting clothes is also pretty satisfying. Keep in mind that this is coming from somebody who finds inventory organization in Resident Evil games satisfying. I 100% would NOT buy the game for $50, but if you can get it cheap like I did I think it's worth the try.

I was really loving the game, and I would love to be able to recommend it to others. I even bought some DLC 18 hours in. HOWEVER, I got to a point in the game where I finally had all 6 medallions, tried streaming it on Discord to my boyfriend, and the game crashed and froze my PC. This kept happening multiple times, even if I wasn't streaming on Discord. I couldn't find any information on what to do online, and even followed tutorials on how to resolve errors or warnings listed in the Event Viewer. (It was probably my fault for messing with my computer too much, but I even ended up reinstalling Windows, and this issue continued to happen.) It even crashed when trying to stream it from my boyfriend's laptop. Additionally, other reviews mentioned that this game is not optimized well for the computer at all. If you do end up buying this game, get a controller with it. The controls are an absolute nightmare. I'm super heartbroken that the game won't work to be honest. TLDR: I wouldn't buy this for pc. Buy it on console and buy it on sale.
