About
The HD update of the classic visual novel from developer Sumikko Soft featuring new visuals and additional content.
A Certain Situation. Of course, even if I put it that way there’s no way I can explain the situation I’m in…
In any case, I find myself with 4 other girls on a long spring break far away from civilization. To emphasize how middle of nowhere this is, there isn’t even a convenience store here. I don’t have a cell phone and despite having some rather good laptop computers, I have no way to connect to the internet. All that’s here is a large dormitory the likes you’d see at a hot springs resort and a school that looks like it’s on the verge of closing down. There’s a farm that’s closed and fields with ripening winter vegetables. In the distance you can see snow capped mountains and the beautiful, clear waters of the sea.
…and out in the distance stood a tower of unimaginable height who’s purpose was anyone’s guess which stretched into the depths of the sky.
This wasn’t a fantasy, or something out of sci-fi or even a mystery. With all that going on, the only intent was to spend some peaceful days with these four girls but that was totally not what was about to happen.
“We’ll make this place a harem for him!”
Wait, when you say harem, uhm… well… Huh????
I wondered what she meant by that as she took off her clothes and the events of that summer unfolded…

The YouTuber Amelie Doree goes into much better depth on the details in development and musical construction than I ever could, (https :// www . youtube. com/ watch?v=SvSPjEpXUFw&t=525s) however in my own opinion: I found Harukuru to be charming in it's frankness. the art style is adorable, the music I have let just play absently because it's great company, and the writing over all makes for a great Science fiction/Philosophy novel. the UI can be a little finicky, but the story is worth it. Warning: the English version is only rated +17, I personally prefer that as to cut to the meat and potatoes of the story, but to others can be a deal breaker. the translators have said they intend to release a full version on their website sometime in 2025. https :// sekaiproject. com/harukuru-spring-has-come-true-release-information /?v=0b3b97fa6688 I say the story is worth it without, but in this economic time I believe it's only right to let people know which version they are buying. Edit at hour 10: I was wrong. rather than not cover the sex scenes, it cuts out the entire middle of the book with a large "OMISSION" sign. this book contains the beginning and end, and while those are well written from what I've seen, it lacks something crucial; Characterization. I thought this was going to continue the pattern expressed after the first chapter with Hifumi of cutting to black romance scenes. Ripping out all the other individual story lines of each girl causes them to feel much flatter than intended and worse yet IT RUINS THE POINT OF A TIMELOOP STORY LINE. time loops stories are made to show the futility of growth when everything good and bad is set to zero. I talked it out with a friend who reads books online that have slow updates and she recommended waiting for the full version and skipping sex scenes the old fashioned way. Note: I do love everything I have seen, heard, and read in this visual novel. I just want the rest. I don't like sex, but I still want to learn about these characters. So I'm going to wait for the full version.
this one's special
