I now have to describe my life using the terms "Pre Harold" and "Post Harold" due to how great of an experience this was. I initially bought this game on my 3DS and I'm happy with how much this game has expanded on PC. The atmosphere and music are my favorite parts. I totally recommend this game for fans of platformers and weird levels.
pretty fun platformer, recommend :>
Good game, its got everything for a remake: New levels, better graphics, new gamemode and secret easter eggs. Only issue i have is that challenge 7 is a pain in the ass
An amazing 3D platformer with a great variety of stages and challenges alike. The graphics are simple yet so visually appealing and Harold is already a character dear to my heart and soul. The abstract story helps to really tie it all in as you play, and while I haven't been able to play the original 3Ds version, I'm sure for all Harold's Walk fans that have it was a much needed release.
genuinely some of the most fun i've had with a platformer in recent years, would highly recommend, especially during a steam sale. i love you harold
Good game I 100% it, but now the question is when will Harold be Reborn
Harold is me. I am Harold. He is my doppelganger. I am his doppelganger. We are one and the same. I am and he is. We are Harold.
Funny thing, i stumbled upon this game looking for 3DS platforming games, but seeing as it was on steam i decided to buy it to support the dev. Truly deserved, now, this game feels like it was originally just a surreal meme game akin to soda drinker pro, but somewhere down the line the dev decided to make this a more genuine platforming experience (you can definitely tell through the radical change in music, level design, and thematic coherence after the first 2 levels) and i gotta say, there's potential for a sequel here, the platforming feels quite smooth, and getting all the collectibles was fun and relaxing since you always know where they are. That said... you can feel that this game is a 3DS game at its core because of how simple it is, but i still recommend buying it to support Luke Vincent (He's currently working on 2 new games, support indie devs!!!) Oh and a fun fact i wanted to take off my chest, this game had multi-language support on 3DS, shame that isn't on steam but oh well!
Harold stans eating gooooooooood Overall a fantastic experience! I never got to play the 3DS version (rest in peace) so this was my first time playing. Had some difficulty on one of the challenge levels (as have other players it would seem), but after watching a speedrun I was able to solve it. Definitely a project that has had a lot of love poured into it, and I'm excited to see what else you have in store for us :)
I loved Automaton Lung from the same developer, and I decided to play this while waiting for Automaton Heart. Glad I did; The level desire/surreal atmosphere is great, and the 3D platforming is solid. Harold's Walk is more platforming focused, while Automaton Lung is more atmospheric+basic combat. Both are excellent.
