Fun game.
a true pleasure to spend some time dissmantling spaceships and listening to a story. No regrets playing this title.
Do you like figuring out how things work? How they fit together? Do you feel satisfied after increasing efficiency? If so, then this is a game for you. In Hardspace: Shipbreaker, you are a “cutter”, which is a person who breaks down spaceships for a living. The gameplay consists of activities in your personal quarters and then floating around in zero g with tools that will allow you to literally tear a ship apart. As far as I’ve seen, that’s it. But for me, that is enough. I really enjoy figuring out how to increase the speed at which I can break a ship down while also limiting mistakes. Do you tear apart the externals first? Go for a reactor to get a big payday? The only penalty for going slow is that every other day, you have to have a little over 500k to pay off a debt. I don’t know what happens if you go into the red, but when I play that clock is always in my mind. It’s a good balance of risk vs reward. The graphics aren’t world-shaking, but it is good enough for me. What has impressed me is the lack of glitches during the work phase. I can’t remember seeing something go absolutely Bethesda level glitches from the physics engine. It is Newtonian but simplified. The learning curve is well balanced. Once you unlock a new function or are introduced to one of the few ship parts that require special handling, the game offers a training job. You are allowed to finish your current job before jumping into the training, but I think it blocks you from accepting new non-training jobs. The upside is that if you can avoid satisfying the training goals, you can break a ship up without the timer running. It’s a nice break. The timer I mentioned works in a couple of ways. Since it’s space and no one without a big S on their chest can avoid breathing for that long; you have limited oxygen and thruster fuel. The timer itself give you 15 minutes before the day ends, and you only get one shift per day. You can see how you always have a gentle pressure on your performance. I have seen people complain about the story, I think those are fair complaints because you can’t skip them. However, while the overarching story isn’t some grand plot that I know of, to me it’s actually pretty accurate if I ponder the issues that someone performing a dangerous job for a mega corporation would have, To bring this home, if your brain works the way mine does, where you have to plan on the fly and enjoy that process, I think this is a hidden gem. I am absolutely addicted to this game and have yet to feel any boredom. And another game obsession is certainly not something I needed but am always happy to find.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I guess words go here. But why are you reading when you could be playing? Sounds like work to me. Dont you know you have a game to do?
Very silly ship demolishing game. Adore it. A little jank, but still very very enjoyable.
The best physics-based game since Garry's Mod
Cool game, works well in proton, has a neat vibe, idk, play it
God I love being in debt.
