Fun with physics in space. Another highly engaging entry in the genre of 'do a fictional job for entertainment value'. Great gameplay loop and progression feels earned without being a slog, you get upgrades fairly fast if you aren't completely destroying the ships. A fairly relaxing experience despite the game giving you roughly 15 minutes at a time to break down the ship per each in-game day. Instead of feeling like the game is rushing you, more than anything it helps with pacing and to give you a moment to step away, stretch etc. There's the occasional case of a physics bug killing your character, seemingly without cause (most prevalent in the large thrusters that you have to fly into to turn off the gas), but otherwise it's a pretty polished experience. Consequences feel fair and are decently telegraphed through the in-game tutorials. When you blow up the reactor and nuke half the ship, you at least get to witness the game's gorgeous explosion effects and watch the ship break apart in real time as consolation. Very pretty game to look at and nails the industrial space aesthetic presented here. Definite recommend if you're someone who likes the 'work sim' genre. Hope to see more from these devs!
good
Makes it seem that there will be more story, it is just doing the ships and reading emails.
No
Pretty good game, worth like £15 at the MOST with all the precautions you have to manage every single little second
Nice chill game you can turn your brain off, the space physics are pretty satisfying
Alright so in terms of gameplay, kinda fun, though can get a little repetitive, and some of the parts will get stuck on the side of the processor and furnace divider. But ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, LET ME SKIP THE STORY BREAKS. This chick Lou keeps calling me on the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ intercom and it's driving me NUTS, talking about her life and stuff, meanwhile I can't do anything but rip my hair out waiting for her to shut up. I DON'T CARE. I'm only writing this review to pass the time while SHE'S TELLING ME ABOUT A LESBIAN RELASHIONSHIP SHE HAD IN THE PAST. WHY IS THIS FORCED UPON ME. Good Lord.
Do you like sorting the recycling, but wish you could do it in space? In all seriousness this is a fun game to play and learn, then once you know best practices & what traps to look for (about 6 hours in) it becomes a cathartic sorting/puzzle game. Biggest downside to me is that this is the kind of game I could play while listening to a podcast, but the soundtrack is so good I don't want to turn it down to hear the podcast.
Ist halt cool, macht das was es verspricht und eigentlich noch mehr ( habe Steam Key für -95% gekauft) , dafür ist es TOP .
great game, incredible soundtrack and overall vibe. would like a "Hardspace: Belt Miner" esque sequal some day
