The original cooking horror returns in an unhinged co-op experience for 1-4 players. Grill burgers, serve customers, and hit your quota before the kitchen turns into a nightmare. When Asset Joy begins her hunt, try to escape alive and extract your hard-earned cash to survive another shift.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.29/day in the week to Sep 15 → 4.2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
You and your crew are hired to participate in an experiment run by the Paragon Corporation. It sounds like a standard fast-food gig: grill burgers, fry sides, pour drinks, work the register, hit your quota, and keep the customers happy.
Every shift is a ticking clock – the kitchen always wins eventually. Once the simulation collapses, Asset Joy breaks containment and begins her hunt. The iconic mascot is back for blood – and you have only one chance to escape!
The game reacts to what you say on the mic. Speak the wrong word, and Asset Joy will hear you. Speak the right incantation, and the kitchen warps. Learn how to use incantations to your advantage, and what to never say aloud if you don’t want to anger the beast.
35+ modifiers ensure each run goes off the rails in a unique way. Rush Hour brings additional customers for a more profitable yet more chaotic shift. Profanity Policy punishes the team every time someone swears on the mic. Midmaxxing messes up the appliances' cooking temperatures.
Escape alive, and your earnings come with you. Spend them on boosters, sacrifice them to the ascension ritual to move the story forward, or gamble them on harder contracts for bigger payouts.
Happy's Humble Burger Cult (formerly Burgatory) is the next chapter in the Scythe Studios Universe, and a direct successor to Happy's Humble Burger Farm – peeling back another layer of the Paragon Corporation's reality-warping simulation program. Ready to go down the rabbit hole again?

I've really enjoyed my time with the game, so far I've only played solo and I really enjoy the game play loop. If you want a challenge play solo with all 3 orders coming in, probably my favorite way to play the game and you make a lot of income. If you want it to be impossible for you, play with complex orders as well. Very fun and stressful Although my complaints with the game (on solo) is when you're on shift 7 or higher its almost impossible to not get bombarded by swarms of flying stun enemies. At that point its not the challenge of making orders its now if I can complete the tasks during closing time and escape.
THIS GAME IS SO COOKED!! AND I LOVE IT!!!

I have been enjoying this game solo on pacifist mode making it basically a horror fast food restaurant simulator where everything goes wrong when the shift is over (have had 1 and 2 of reset mouse traps, everything catches on fire, turn off stuff in the kitchen, change the temperatures on the thermostat, throw away oil/grease buckets, etc..... it keeps increasing as you play on, did up to shift 10 with 4 things going wrong when closing the restaurant) but I don't die. Only negative was trying to find thermostats I was looking everywhere and didn't know where they were (just found out you can pull up a map that has everything marked...). I am not the fastest worker and have been doing fine (I only reset 2 times, which was probably unnecessary and ended the run where the shifts went from shift 3 back to shift 1... shifts get more difficult over time and you make more money). There doesn't seem to be any upgrades or anything. You get money from your shifts that you can gamble with (try to make more), put in a bank account (I don't know the use unless you max level and want to save money, if you die you lose the cash you are holding) or what I do.... just put into a jar which levels you up to unlock cosmetics and new restaurants. You can boost profits by adding modifiers after shift 1. Like complex orders where orders can come in with stuff like I want no pickles or mayo on my burger. Drive thru where then you have to make 2 orders (main register and drive thru). Pickup which seemed like you needed to make the order kinda fast or they leave. When taking orders you go to the register and select from 4 things. Burgers & Sandwiches, Drinks & Shakes, Baked Goods and Fried Foods. Once you select all items you then confirm the order and it stays on the bottom left of your screen. You then have to make all the items for the order and put them into a paper bag which I believe says what is in it. Making Burgers and Sandwiches they have a recipe book at the station where you can have an easy guide to making sandwiches (some are easy with like 6 ingredients/steps others are complex with like 15, you have to do everything in the correct order or it becomes a weird/odd sandwich which you have to throw out). (I have been writing down all recipes just for fun, I might make it a silly guide once I unlock all restaurants)
There is no way to disable your microphone, and even if you use push to talk, the game listens for 'her' name. You get an alert if it hears Happy, or Happens, or Happened. My friends and I did not know it was using our mic despite being on push to talk and NOT pushing our push to talk buttons. We were not using game chat at all. I will not be reinstalling until there is a fix for this or a way to ensure the game will not be listening for things when I am not anticipating it to be using my microphone. Edited a day or two later: Devs were super super receptive. They have promised a patch to enable a toggle mute. I enjoyed the game aside from the sudden mic spook. Love being able to yell at my friends to get their fat asses out of the way of my burger.
I would do things to that cow
goood very good
sloppppppp
Scythe is a great dev team. They respond to question and feedback, implement updates, and continue fixes after release. This game basically takes the cooking from Burger Farm, but complicates it a bit more, and makes it co-op. For the price, well worth it. It's well polished and fun. The only detractor I can think of is that some of my friends are too scared to play.
