Become the champion of the Arena by besting your opponents in various brawls and tournaments. Prepare for an unparalleled combat experience where your every move matters. All animations and maneuvers are meticulously designed with a strong foundation in realism.
Your control over weapons is genuine, as we have crafted a combat system based on the expertise and feedback of Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) practitioners and sword fencers. Through this dynamic system, players can immerse themselves in the intricacies of swordplay and learn the art of the game's combat mechanics.
Survive bloody battles to gain renown and claim wealth to buy new equipment or forge your own armor and weapons tailored to your combat style. Feeling confident? Bet on your success to potentially boost your earnings and further your progress.

Every story needs an end, and in Half Sword, it often means losing your head - quite literally. As this is a simulation game, death is final…
Be Warned: Half Sword is an extremely violent and gory game. I mean… we do have a Chief Blood Officer. Witness skull-crushing blows, limb decapitations, and gruesome displays of entrails and bloodshed, all intricately tied to the weapon and armor choices of both you and your opponents.

peak game but i would love if they add castle defense in free mode or sum
The game in its current state compared to when it first released to early access is huge, but the difference is bigger from the current state to what I'd imagine a release-state Half Sword to be. It's a really fun game, you can do whatever the ♥♥♥♥ and have fun. That's the point right? The performance of this game is a real concern, but it has gotten much better as of recently. On the worst of this game i get around 40-60 fps, and that's with a 2560x1600 screen, and with medal recording in the background. And on the best of this game I manage to get around 100 fps. It is of course still an early access game, so it still feels like some elements are missing. Like what do you do after finishing the last tourney? Is the last tourney the goal? What do you do with your money after getting fully fledged armor? And of course the bugs, when playing recently I've encountered much fewer bugs than I did just some weeks ago. They're still there, but for me personally they haven't been enough to throw me off entirely and quit the game. The most annoying bug right now is that my damn character can't hold the sword properly. I've seen some people get angry about only being able to use one specific weapon late-game. But I've been doing another playthrough, and been getting through just fine without that weapon. Skill issue Just another thing, at night I can't see ♥♥♥♥, especially in the forest. I've done some fights where I've spent minutes genuinely looking for the enemy to just kill them.
sifma femi while i snigg coke

New update is great, bought the game to above demo level for me-hence my purchase. Core gameplay is fun, love the customization. Would love for a crossbow/projectile weapon expansion and the half length tabard. Improving tabard clipping would also be appreciated.
游戏是好游戏,很爽快的宰人,确实解压,但是频繁的报错与闪退让游戏体验大幅下降,新手引导也很拉跨,优化太差,总之是个不错的泄愤游戏。
Awesome Game!
