Become the champion of the Arena by besting your opponents in various brawls and tournaments. Prepare for an unparalleled combat experience where your every move matters. All animations and maneuvers are meticulously designed with a strong foundation in realism.
Your control over weapons is genuine, as we have crafted a combat system based on the expertise and feedback of Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) practitioners and sword fencers. Through this dynamic system, players can immerse themselves in the intricacies of swordplay and learn the art of the game's combat mechanics.
Survive bloody battles to gain renown and claim wealth to buy new equipment or forge your own armor and weapons tailored to your combat style. Feeling confident? Bet on your success to potentially boost your earnings and further your progress.

Every story needs an end, and in Half Sword, it often means losing your head - quite literally. As this is a simulation game, death is final…
Be Warned: Half Sword is an extremely violent and gory game. I mean… we do have a Chief Blood Officer. Witness skull-crushing blows, limb decapitations, and gruesome displays of entrails and bloodshed, all intricately tied to the weapon and armor choices of both you and your opponents.

Like all melee sims it is incredibly fun and frustrating, but also very short content-wise. I hope they're able to save it, but so far the community feedback has been rough.
I played the game fore a while now i like it but there are still many bugs ofc its early acsess so.... but i have some things that should be added like switching the keybinds or a bit of an story/tutorial so u learn how to fight and craft things and progress . And more rankes bc u get threw the game very fast. and i like the grabing from the demo hope someone reads this

such a beautifully made game with genuine care. All my hours in custom battles going against defenseless peasants
tuff tuff tuff sahur. you can make hulk
Love the concept of this game and do really like the gameplay and combat. However, there is no reason the demo should feel more polished at times and yet it does. In terms of the combat its good but you shatter your bones just by thinking of walking somewhere though to there credit the enemy's do seem harder. But the ragdoll just is built to make you mad i mean spawning into the abyss just to be stuck flopping on the ground because you cant get out the coffin or just tripping on air on flat ground is just a recipe to have a broken monitor. It feels like the game is going to punish you for wanting to do more complex movement and such. the game has come far since the demo and is much more fleshed out but I still find myself enjoying the gameplay of the demo more.
