A little dissapointing, a novel concept but from descriptions i thought it would be more like Adrift or space engineers, not bad game though if your looking for something small to waste some time with.
Bad
Habitat is an early Kickstarter project that was completely funded at $65,000 and released into 1.0 around 2016, before the devs dropped off the face of the earth. Much like the infamous Spacebase DF-9 it has good bones but both projects were dropped before they could be polished. Habitat is a short but 'complete' game where you scavenge for resources to build stations and follow a barebones plot through multiple warpgates as you fight enemies. Combat feels good but maneuverability could have been improved. I would have liked to see a more focused themes and major bug fixes with the campaign at least; before dropping development. tbh idk if it's even possible to reach Mars. Every time I get to the boss fight it refuses to move to the next stage or whatever. EDIT: I managed to finally finish the game but it's incredibly annoying trying to avoid softlocking the game. tl;dr Give this one a miss
I enjoyed building and designing my junk ship. Then fought pirates and their core blew apart my ship and I rebuilt. Then fought more and rebuilt again, and again. Ships spawn on your face ripping parts off your ship and wedge themselves against your ship making the weapons virtually impossible to use. Made tons engineers between rounds to just dismantle their ship rapidly even though they have no sense to stay out of the range of the weapons I do get to use and drop like flies. Game is poorly optimized and every time pirates spawn in the how game become so laggy that its nearly unplayable. Perhaps mods could save this game but its dead in the water.
Huh? What is this?
Abondanded
I would pay steam to remove this from my library.
Yeah, this just isn't good.
Me encanta el espacio. Pero este juego, aparte de no estar traducido al 2º idioma mas hablado del mundo, es malisimo. Menos mal que solo he pagado 0,17$.
