About
About the Game
H.A.D.E.S Zero is a narrative, fixed-camera survival horror that pays homage to the classics of the 1990s genre. Set deep within the H.A.D.E.S Charon research complex, the game puts you in the shoes of Nick Smith, a security agent who must survive the remains of a scientific facility collapsed after a biotechnological incident.
Facing aberrant enemies, scarce resources, and the vestiges of a corporate conspiracy, the player must navigate an environment where horror resides not only in the physical, but also in the ethical and existential. As you progress, you will discover classified documents and files that reveal the secrets behind the H.A.D.E.S(Human Advanced and Development Experimental Systems) project, the origin of the "Proto Alphas" (P.A), and the true price of altering the limits of human evolution. ________________________________________

muy resident evil buenisimo
If you like PS1 Resident Evil or old-school survival horror games, you must play this game.
I have been following the project for a while, HADES Zero is a great game, with a lore that makes sense and that unravels in a great way through the gameplay, If you want a classic RE experience grab a copy of this one I am pretty sure you will not regret it!!
it's pretty short and sweet, difficulty wise, it's on the easier side if you know what you are doing. the game lacks shortcuts tho, so you better put up with a lot of backtracking. there are also a lot of pointless locked doors, i just dont see a reason for their existance. most of the puzzle are simple, with one exception (the clock one which i had to brute force the solution, maybe because I'm a dumbass) for a 3 hour game, shorter if you have good spatial awareness and good with puzzle, I'd say its worth the price
Unacceptable game breaking bugs that can stop you from progressing the game: - the person who has red access card doesn't always spawn, so I was forced to reload an older save slot to speedrun a 1 hour progress - when I died at 1st boss, the game offered "Continue?" and after I clicked on it, I literally got revived at the boss area (or in the save room), without the boss (that you need to kill in order to progress the game) - I also couldn't interact with anything and not even "P" or "M" buttons worked, so I force-quit the game then load back the latest save. Turns out the boss didn't appear again and again, so I either had to reload an older save to speedrun to this point, but luckily after starting Epilogue then going back to main menu and loading that save, the boss appeared again. - the same "Continue?" bug is present in the Epilogue chapter final boss area too, except that the boss won't disappear but the monster near the save room and our character's HP may increase to fully healed) I'm willing to change my review to positive, but as long as a game has game breaking bugs that seems to happen often, I simply can't recommend the game anyone in this current state. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Normal review: Positives: + completely new chapter (Epilogue) was being added for completely free, not even increasing base price is awesome + always great to play/see another old school fixed camera survival horror game + there are cutscenes, which are short, but I still appreciate them Mixed feelings: +/- the game doesn't have tutorial, which is for classic survival horror fans are not bad, but starters will have no idea how to play, such as use "I" to open your inventory, "M" for opening map, "E" for most action or combine weapon + ammo for faster/better reload or attack with your knife while aiming down to destroy wooden crates +/- some camera angles are placed poorly +/- it's great that the developer added a map into the game (, wasn't there at launch), which highlights the doors you can open later (and hides the ones that will never be opened - although one of them does show up in the map), but late game (Chapter 3) and Epilogue doesn't have any, which depending how much time you can play will make you frustrated +/- no voice acting (enemies barely have any, not even as a feedback when you successfully injure them - even our characters doesn't have any voice feedback when they are getting hurt) +/- blue access card needs very specific angle to be able to be used Negatives: - the game also doesn't tell you how to pause the game (, which in most games are "ESC" button), and it is actually "P" or use "Q" for quick-turn - most of the puzzles are simply copy pasted from classic Resident evil game(s) - the story (at least the virus/monsters) origin is copy pasted from classic Resident evil 2 and other Resident evil games, and it doesn't really offer anything original (, even typewriters and ink ribbons are the way you can save in the game) - you can easily soft-lock yourself if you don't use specific weapons, and because of that I used knife for most of the time (they can stun-lock enemies and kill them in 1-2-3 hits, while pistol takes around 8 ammos to kill them) - the Epilogue boss fight isn't challenging it's just unfair -> it has tons of health -> it can run fast to catch up to you and deal damage that is almost impossible to avoid, so your only choice is to run away when you hear it's running, hoping it won't catch you (, because enemies don't get staggered while receiving damage) -> but auto-aim detection range is too short, so you can barely damage this enemy and have enough time to get away from its speed attack -> pistol and flamethrower literally useless against this boss, since they barely damage it -> the boss area doesn't have any supplies, so if you wasted too much of your shotgun ammo and pills, it's basically impossible to defeat this boss.
Great Game! makes me think of old school PS1 Games when tank movement and fix camera angles was a thing, sometimes too easy, but feels ok on the end
Every technical issue the game had when I initially reviewed has been fixed: - Crossbow working - Grenades working - First enemy bug - Sluggish auto aim movement Overall a decent, if quick, survival horror experience. Excited to see further instalments and hope they can work on refining their skills for future release.
Excellent immersion into the old Resident Evil (1-3). For every skuf who dreams of immersing himself in the PS1 era.
Excellent bite size survival horror game. I was expecting jank but was surprised by how smooth the controls and gameplay felt. It plays exactly like psx resident evil. Ink ribbons, limited inventory, resource scarcity, exploration to find hidden weapons, keys to move forward, etc. everything works well for this to be good 3 hour experience. Difficulty felt perfect, not frustrating and rewards good skills. But oh my god is the level design bland though. It looks like the dev used 0 assets, just boring brown / gray hallways. Also the game needs some kind of low tier voice acting, doesn’t matter what language. Dialogue boxes can’t just pop up mid gameplay. All in all I really like it, def worth the asking price for survival horror fans. I hope a follow up is made and addresses the above issues
A great game, I recommend it. If you like classic PS2 games, this is definitely a great game. It draws you in, and the mechanics are easy to learn, and the enemies are easy to recognize, yet they're not difficult. It keeps you hooked and I want to know more :)
