Gunship!

Meh seemed pretty rough even for it's age.

Sweet and lovely game with nice game play. One of these retro games that still hold their ground. Has still some drawbacks, like the controls are confusing and the helicopter seems to have a mind of his own so firing at enemies is pretty difficult.

This is an old reboot of an even older helicopter flight sim. While the Gunship games were great for the time, that time has passed. While the game has 4K support in the settings, it crashes immediately with a DirectX error when launching into the game. Because it's unplayable, it's reprehensible for Retroism to continue to sell this on Steam.

Can not operate game on newer systems

Played it for nostalgia: it was my first videogame and of course it felt awesome back then. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else though, the controls are frustratingly bad even for an early 2000 game, at least with mouse and keyboard. I just wish there were similar games for current gen consoles, the multiplayer would be epic. The fanta-political premise of the game has almost become prophetic as of 2022...
