Gunpoint

A detective story with simple and entertaining mechanics, well thought-out puzzles from these, a not too long but effective plot and choice of actions, all in a very well carried comic frame and with the typical jazz of the police genre. Absolutely recommended if you are looking for something to play quiet and thinking a little. --- Solo disponible en inglés, pero vale la pena jugarlo si eres capaz de seguir el hilo de la trama y entender cómo fuciona. Una historia detectivesca con mecánicas sencillas y entretenidas, puzzles bien pensados a partir de estas, una trama no muy larga pero efectiva y elección de acciones, todo ello en un marco cómico muy bien llevado y con el jazz típico del género policíaco. Absolutamente recomendado si buscas algo para jugar tranquilo y pensando un poco.

clever game

Great little puzzler, well worth the money. The story is entertaining, and serves to move the game along, but what shines is the gameplay. A mixture of action and puzzling (leaning towards the latter) that keeps you interested in coming back for more.

Some people might say that Gunpoint is too short but I think it just doesn't overstay its welcome. Its presentation is simple but slick, its narrative compelling, its music on point and its puzzles, while demanding at first, allow you to approach them in different ways - especially in longer levels - while also being, ultimately, very rewarding, as you feel yourself becoming better at tackling them. I did two playthroughs and was surprised at how quickly I solved the puzzles the second time, especially since I didn't fully remember them. Additionally, whether you prefer being stealthier or more aggressive throughout the levels, really adds to the playable character's depth as an individual. That, coupled with the game's dialogue options, is a neat little way of making him wholly three-dimensional. A perfect combination between gameplay and storytelling. Gunpoint plays like a film. A short film but the type that's fully engrossing. 10/10

Really enjoyed both the humour and the gameplay. Not many games manage to make me laugh out loud. This one did it within the first few minutes.
