The game is really funny and enjoyable for the mission briefings and has very unique game mechanics. However, it very quickly gets a bit difficult and makes you think about what you're going to do while trying to get a good time for each mission. I got stuck on one where you need to connect some of the mechanics together, but you can only connect similar colors to each other, which resulted in a confusing level where they had to trigger the doors I needed by walking through the scanners at one end of the hall. While I personally didn't enjoy it, the game is great if you like games involving witty humor and drama with investigative themes. Definitely made me laugh at some of the briefings you get before the missions.

Games like these make me wish there was an option for a review to be neither negative or positive. Gunpoint isn't bad... but it's also not good, for me it leans more good than bad but it has it's issues. The game is short (I did it in 2.8hrs) and I never really felt challenged by any of the puzzles, on the topic of puzzles; they're more akin to chores, they're not that interesting :p. The gameplay could be so, so much better, stealth is basic and the story is... it's there! At least some of the witty lines make up for it. Pick it up if you like the risk but don't be surprised if you get massively disappointed with the missed opportunity that this game is.
