Amazing classic game. Been a 10/10 since release in like 2005. No regrets.

20euros pour de la nostalgie ok pour tout ce qui est confort de jeu c'est non je rencontre les memes problemes et bugs qu'avant , rien n'est corrigé ou presque. le reforged est juste upscaled a mon avis. si vous connaissez et que vous avez aimé c'est oui si c'est pour decouvrir , mettez vous plutot au 2.

Great community, beautiful soundtrack and ambience, a lot of fun experimenting with different builds and so many things to do whether you prefer challenges or just enjoying hanging out in a fantastic world. You can play casually, or go incredibly deep and have fun either way. Highly recommended. This is one of the Classics and we are lucky it is still around.

The nostalgia hits hard with this one. If you like really grindy MMOs then this is for you. The areas are a little too open and empty but I love it.

I am not the type of person who plays many MMO-RPGs. And I would even say it is incorrect to call Guild Wars a MMO-RPG. It is just an RPG, with online features. The hireling (simply put, NPC party members) allows the game to be perfectly played solo, without losing much. On to other things, this game has suprised me with its quality. Is it aged? Yes, sure. Absolutely. It doesn't hold up especially during cutscenes where the camera is positioned closer to characters. But, visually, the environments all look great, speaking this from having played just the first few hours of the Factions campaign. The combat system is interesting and requires thought and consideration. And although it does not have "circles on the ground" to dodge like Guild Wars 2 or the "critically acclaimed" Final Fantasy XIV, it still offers depth in how to engage with the combat, mostly due to how buffs (enchantments) and de-buffs (hexes) and negative conditions can affect a fight. Going further on how combat works, I find it interesting how there are no, or few, "thrash enemies". Nothing is an easy fight because enemies have access to the same skills players do. Everyone works on the same combat framework. Posting this review before having finished even a single one of the campaigns. And, yet, I would already recommend this game. It has my endorsement.
