Your DualSense™, DualSense Edge™, or DualShock™ 4 isn’t just hardware. With DSX, it becomes an extension of your instincts. Every button press feels deliberate. Every trigger pull feels tuned. Every haptic pulse reacts exactly how you want it to.
Whether you’re competing online or diving into story-driven worlds, DSX gives you smoother inputs, faster reactions, and a deeper sense of connection with your games. DSX helps you play with precision and confidence. Once you’ve felt what real control feels like, you won’t go back.
We've been hard at work implementing BT Audio and Haptic Feedback for the DualSense and DualSense Edge controllers. We're excited to make this BETA available for users to experience this major breakthrough not found anywhere else on PC. [BT Audio/Haptic Feedback is part of DSX+]
Play at your best. Create control profiles that match your playstyle. Fine-tune trigger resistance, remap buttons, and make every action count.
Feel more. Convert sound, rumble, or inputs into immersive haptics. Let your controller react to the game the way you feel it.
React faster. Adaptive trigger modes and responsive feedback help you stay one step ahead in every match.
Make it yours. Personalize LEDs, colors, and lighting scenes so your controller fits your setup and your mood.
Always improving. DSX keeps evolving with regular updates, new features, and expanded controller support.

selling dlc for haptics over Bluetooth is comically greedy but as of the v3.2 beta it does actually work. still wouldnt recommend unless you really want wireless haptics and dont want to buy hardware to do so
It’s great. I used to struggle with the L2 and R2 buttons—specifically regarding the resistance level—as well as the difference in button layout between PlayStation and Xbox controllers. But since I started using this app, I haven't had any issues It is an easy-to-use app that has everything, and it is not complicated 🩵🩵🩵🩵🤍🤍🤍🤍🩷🩷🩷🩷
Do you know why such an helpful app that works well enough is not getting full positive reviews.

Because this used to be free and was methodologically made paid. DS4 windows started in Github by Ryochan7 (was archived, now removed). DS4 windows website was not owned by ryochan7 ( website link). After ryochan left there were few updates to its fork also named DS4 windows but it started publishing unverifiable binaries, one user also mentioned it installs some AI browser (read it here). Then DS5/DSX came with the promise of keeping this up and continuing the legacy (website link) This website mentioned this app is next generation DS5 game input mapper. It also hints that DS3&4 needed DS4Windows app to work whereas Dualsense controller is pluf and play and with DSX app at your disposal you can fully unlock the features.

Although that is true It cleverly changes the narative to imply DS5/DSX is the evolution of DS4Windows and you need DSX now if you are upgrading to dualsense. DS4 windows and its opensource forks that still exists and being maintained have the support for Dualsense and the basic features in the app. It is open source and free and are being maintained by developers in free time hence it is not fully fleshed out. Also DSX used to be free till v2. Then the developer made its newer versions a paid product and only avaialble on steam and nowhere else. The DSX website still has it and shows the differences between the paid version and free version. And even if you buy DSX you need DSX+ which is another DLC to use it with Dualsense. That was the whole point of DSX over DS4windows as claimed by their website. Even though this is a feature in progress and they are taking their sweet time with it, DSX doesn't yet run without Steam and until you disable it in settings, they are for sure ensuring DSX doesn't get cracked with this feature because many people use it to play local games which doesn't require steam to run. But you cannot start DSX on boot without starting steam. Also DSX will count as running in Steam when in background even if not in active use, disallowing people from refunding as Steam refunds depend on that.

Although the app is great and I have personally seen it come a long way. and I paid for it and will keep on using it, I do not recommend that you use this app, if you just need basic functions DS4 windows still works and is opensource and free even with DualSense controllers(HID-Hide and VirtualPad driver are also free). The whole plot was for them to move people slowly and gradually over to DSX from DS4Windows and when the app got good, they made it a paid software with a DLC you NEED to use the controller it is meant for and still doesn't run independent of steam because they (presumably) don't want to make this piratable and lose a part of their income stream. Edit- Never used DSX without DSX+ but it seems that DSX+ gives you virtual Dualsense functionality which is different from what I said above. But if you switch to a game that has DualSense native support and want to use the full functionality with a dualsense controller, you will have to disable hiding using Hidhide and disable dsx, with DSX+ you can just switch to reemulate it (or any other controller) as a DualSense controller which is technically less bad.
This is the piece of software that just keeps giving and giving with every update. The latest beta allows be to fully utilize my PS5 Controller wirelessly(Haptic Feedback, Adaptive Triggers, and even the built in speaker!).
Dnno what people are complaining about, app works great clearly has had a lot of work put into it. Obviously splitting the haptics into a seperate DLC is retarded it should just be the one price of $15
наконец-то работает так, как и ожидал в момент покупки. тогда это была бесполезная трата бабок. а сейчас - беспровод со всеми фичами дуалсенса во всей красе. странно, что только в бета-версии.
Came up up as another Trojan Virus Running in the background I cannot delete after uninstalling I'm getting my Refund Now!!
It works, but for some reason this ♥♥♥♥ keeps conflicting with Bluetooth. Every time the controller works properly, my headset stops working, so I can't hear anything. Definitely not worth it.
I've been following this program for a while, now, and those crazy bastards (maybe just one guy, Paliverse) finally did it. Wireless haptics and controller audio works like a charm. Brilliant work. Other than that, it's got a plethora of other features and customizations for your controller(s) and since my only gripe, Steam playtime, was addressed, I'm damn near completely satisfied.
Wow after the v3.2 Beta this is exactly what I expected this software to be!! I can confirm full haptic feedback + adaptive triggers + controller dedicated audio passthrough (for games that support it). Feels 1 to 1 as playing on my ps5.
