Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Having this many microtransactions in a game that costs 4€ is just beyond shameless
definition of pay to play, progress without buying upgrades with real money, is miniscule This is a terrible ''game'', designed to draw every cent out of you, if you insist on playing this

Great to see this game on desktop now. Played this game a long time ago on mobile and it still makes some fun, problematic is the price tag of 4 Euros. And there are some bugs at the moment. The time I am writing this, is probably two days after release, so do not expect the best. First of all it remains the same as the mobile version, there are no specific key binds for abilities or other desktop specific features. All in all nice game, interesting too see this game evolving since back then. My opinion: only buy if you are too rich and the price tag doesnt bother you or if it is on sale (which will probably take some time because it just got released few days ago). And for the devs or others who are interested in: There are some things that need to be fixed (Bugs/wishlist): 1) The moving of the map is definitely way too slow (make it a lot faster and make it "zoomable"). 2) The notifications buttons for example when the bank is full, which only appear on mobile, need to be removed. 3) The promotions of the offers suck, they appear after every wave of defending eventhough you ignore or click it. This should not happen when requesting 4€ for a game thats on mobile for free. 4) In the offer tab (in game purchases), the original price tag is on the worse sales higher than on the better ones. Fix that, please. 5) Furthermore, the achievements are not translated to another language than english. This is not a dramatic problem for me, but maybe something you want to fix on day. Okay, that's it so far, have a great day and have fun playing this nostalgic game!
Душно. Две вещи, почему мобильная версия лучше: она бесплатна + за рекламу фармишь монеты быстрее
Le jeu mobile mais sans aucun changement, et avec encore ses micro-transactions.
Love the Game. Maxed Out all Upgrades, Spent $0. Reached wave 1100. Wish there was more units to unlock and Level up. Maybe Create an Evolve System, to evolve From Stone Age too Castle Age. There need to be more Tower defense games like Grow Empire Rome. Because this game is like Age of Empire 2. Age of Empire 2 is NOT like a "City Builder", Age of Empire 2 is more LIKE a "Tower Defense" Game. Age of Empire 2 would make an awesome Tower Defense Game, Like Grow Empire Rome and other Mobile games like it. There need to be more Tower Defense RPG Game like Crazy Zombies, Which is an awesome game with replay value. Age of Empire 2 Best Game - Nothing came replace it. NOT even Age of Empire 3 and 4.
Where to start? At first, unhappy that i did not notice this was a mobile game, and paid for it for PC! Steam, there should be a clear tag sayin "this is a mobile game"! Sure, addictive, got to kill that next wave, but... tactical?, zero to very little, strategy? non-existent, despite the claims of the game Sure, it's Rome, that counts for something, but with a limited (partial) map Sure, different soldier types to work with, but now way to control apart which unit in which wave Javelins, overpowered clearly Replayability? as far as i can tell non-existent... 800+ hours of game-play - make that 600 hours waiting time to generate denari whilst playing another game Now at a point everything is maxed out, no more purpose for the denari generated. Looking at the difficulty level of what still do, can't be done without the cards in the game wich you earn slowly every day if one doesn't want to pay for it ( and I don't) sure they have been keeping you busy untill that time : defend your base city, conquer the map (which they call 'colonize'), unlock heros, unlock mercenaries (nope, not available everywhere, you can only use them t conquer the map) defend your colonies, play in the colosseum,...nope, not more, thats the game content. Not that one has to, but cities are numbered, as one follows the numbers (once visible) you conquer italy first, than Gaul (which suprisingly stoppes somewhere in the middel of current France), than Iberia, than Carthage, than Egypt ( i guess Illyria, Greece, Trace, Asia Minor, Crete, Cyprus,, Rhodes, and the levant is for another game) . And no, when all cities are conquered, you don't own 100% of the map, of no, for that you have to defend you colonies one by one for 3 times, only than you own it in full...as said they keep you busy, Good thing perhap it is not the full Roman known world to conquer, the scrolling accros the map would most likely make you forget you are playing a game... bottom line, ...was reasonable while it lasted, but no, can not recommend
Simply converted from mobile OS to pc OS. They have done nothing at all to improve the game or add more features. They have only made it playable for pc. Translations to other languages are broken. Even the " Send me a message " option for when the bank is full is still there but on pc there is no way for u to recieve it xD what a joke of a pc game. It is obvious they only did this so people would fall for the micro transaction scheme seeing as the game is basicly unbeatable if you dont pay for it or have 3+ years of daily grinding.
Super Game. Hab es damals schon auf dem Handy durchgespielt. Hab Bock alle erfolge durch zu grinden
