This is the most visually stunning game I've ever played, and I thoroughly enjoyed playing it! I will say, however, that the platforming only gains a lot of complexity in the last two stages of the game, and so it is a game that is enjoyed very passively throughout. If you are playing this game for the platforming, I would recommend buying it only on sale if at all. If you are, however, playing for the art and the story of grief, I would wholeheartedly recommend it. Edit: After achievement hunting to 100% the game, I realized that if you're going for all achievements on your initial run through, you will have a ton more gameplay.

I never write reviews, seriously, never. Gotta make an exception here. Tearing up, this is one of the most beautiful games I have ever experienced. I walked in not expecting much, kinda bored with my life. But man, the journey this takes you on, so hauntingly beautiful, making you watch and play in awe... If you have any heart, any longing soul, any feelings unsolved, experienced loss, hardship or depression in your life and yearn for some relief, this is the game for you. Play it, and thank the devs later. They are masters of their craft and created a wonderful light shining upon us. This gives you back some faith in humanity. Wow!
