I hope the developers read these reviews because i've noted a few points. What i will say initially is from the descriptions and screenshots it looked like it could of been a fun little game, but unfortunately its plagued with problems. 1/ The control schemes are a mess. The first one trying to reverse is impossible and just launches you forward. I never could drive where i wanted, took me multiple tries to get to where i needed. Switched to the so called "Racing" one where the WASD keys are meant to work. They did not. 1 key worked, the rest did absolutely nothing. I know it recommends a controller but it should 100% work on default pc hardware. 2/ I fell off the cliffs where you have to move the plane wing and i landed down in the void stuck inside of a cliff, i didn't die, couldn't move or anything. I had to restart. 3/ Something that annoyed me right from the very beginning was the music. I hated it, the whole time i played it i wished it would stop. 4/ The game is still using the unreal engine logo as the game icon All that being said there may be some potential in this game but right now i'm not seeing it. Between the music and the hassle of trying to do anything in this game i've had to stop playing.

While I like the concept of fighting bosses with cool music and the villain shouting, the game controls killed the game. Playing with mouse and keyboard felt like trying to drive a reversed car. Movement isn't that intuitive and when you get stuck in the wall, the car just kept on going on the same direction even though I press the opposite. I needed to let go of my keyboard to readjust. The game camera is also really ♥♥♥♥, I was almost puking at one of the segment because it glitched. A lot of polishing need to be done on the control. Other than that, I think the bosses is way too easy once you know their gimmick. The hard thing to do is to find their gimmick, which isn't telegraphed in a good way.

~ The story of the game makes very little sense, at least to me. ~ I fail to see the A-RPG elements in this game but maybe they will be implemented when the full game will be released. As for now the game feels more like an Adventure/Action-Adventure game, rather than an a-rpg. ~ Clunky controls ~ Sometimes music is annoying ~ The hook goes sometimes all over the place ~ There`s a bug where you can`t finish off the first boss, so you have to re-do the whole fight ~ When it comes to bosses, the game goes from 1 to 100 really fast. It`s really easy to kill off the fist boss and you even have multiple options to do so, either by
ripping it`s legs off
or by
making it fall into explosive spiders or throw explosive spiders at him
. But for the second one, I really have no clue on what to do or grab and the game gives no hints either. All you do is hear the complains of the villainesse
"Ma, it`s the one who killed the BR-ROO. Can we kick him?"
over and over again because you have no clue on how to defeat the boss.
The Awesome Duo This bite-sized preview gives you an idea of what's to come. I'm not sure I saw the Action RPG portion that the game mentions, but I do look forward to seeing what that'll be. In this prologue you get to explore a handful of areas, get a loose glimpse of the story, and experience some grapple based combat. Story: Told through voicework and some well done animated cut scenes. The animated cut scenes are really good, and remind me of Heavy Metal(please watch it if you haven't seen it.) From what I can tell the world's in a post apocalyptic landscape where water is scarce. Mad Max vibes course through the game's veins. Gameplay: You drive a car around and use your grapple hook to collect water from cacti, grab and throw enemies or other objects, and rip mechanical parts off of bosses. It's a little quirky. I found myself getting pulled into the water during the final boss and that made it difficult to determine if I was making any progress trying to rip off part of the spine. If you've seen the gameplay video above you've got a pretty good idea of what to expect. Sound/Music: Voicework is pretty good. The sister comes off a little too monotone given some of the situations she speaks in, but overall it was pretty well done. Music and sound effects are fitting and quite good. Graphics: A lot of detail has gone into the environment, the dust trail you weave behind your vehicle looks great. The cut scenes look great and are easily my favorite part.
The game play is actually really neat it can be a bit hard to use the grappling hook while driving and I 100% recommend the controller the first boss on mouse and keyboard was doable but Nessi will straight up eat your booty meat. the sound track is pretty sick as well and I'm glad that there's voice acting throughout so far in the prologue. My main complaint though is the camera oh my god when I was trying to open the gate I literally could not even see my car or anywhere near it I had to completely guess throwing the hook to progress. Overall Really excited for the full game but hopefully the camera will work better in the final release my full play through here: https://youtu.be/9Ty9EoVpxjs
