Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2/day in the week to Aug 23 → 3.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Just started playing, combat feels so good and it just clicks, there's a lot of variety on how to deal with these mobs but being this diverse in the early game gives me high hopes for the endgame.

Worthy game. It's not very difficult, but difficult enough to be interesting. The map is not at Silksong's level, it's not a perfect game, but it's a very good one. I highly recommand it.
best metroidvania hame ever, i mean it
GRIME II is pretty much a masterpiece. It takes everything the first game did well and improves upon it - combat, platforming and narrative. What GRIME and now GRIME II does better than most metroidvanias I've played, is that pretty much every platforming ability you acquire is then immediately introduced into the combat as well, and vice versa (Silksong is really good at doing this too). It keeps the fighting really engaging throughout, and the big-name bosses are especially good at involving the platforming elements into their movesets. Just outstanding design, really. The weapons are more varied and interesting compared to the first, and a stamina system is replaced with FORCE - instead of needing your stamina to evade and attack, the force meter works similarly, but simply boosts your attack upon a certain threshold, essentially limiting your attacks like before, but leaving you much more free to take evasive action without limits. Big fan of this system. Similarly, where there were a lot of fairly useless consumables in the first game that, if you're like me - you never used, because you're allergic to using anything consumable. Now, in GRIME II, you collect Item Molds instead, which are refreshed at checkpoints. You can increase the charges and power of these "unlimited consumables" by finding more of them in the world, and it makes the exploration feel a lot more rewarding than it was in the first game. The environments are absolutely gorgeous, as are the many many enemy and character designs found within. The original GRIME's narrative and world left a huge impact on my when I played through it, and in GRIME II they simply push it further, with a much larger amount of NPC dialogue and interaction, including conversation options and the like. I found most of the characters fun and interesting to be around and was always happy to get to talk to them more - dialogue was good, but pretty limited in the last game, so for me this was a very welcome change. And hey, if the dialogue isn't really your vibe, you can usually quite literally tell people to shut up, or that you dont care to their face, so its not like players just there for the gameplay will suffer from this. GRIME II is also like... kinda huge. It's probably twice as big as the first game, and yet it doesn't suffer from any issues with pacing or bloat - the game keeps the quality really high throughout, no area or boss feels like a dud. Also, the game's score is once again done by Alex Roe, and just like the first game its phenomenal! I just really, REALLY loved this game, and if you're remotely into metroidvania's or soulslikes than you should give this or the first game (if you haven't already a chance). If you enjoyed the first game then - WHAT ARE YOU DOING?? GO PLAY THIS ALREADY! I eagerly look forward to whatever Clover Bite work on next, whether it be dlc/expansions, GRIME III, or something else entirely :)
the last boss is terrible, first phase is piss easy and the second phase becomes a gank fight, the firs time in the whole game i had to take it slow for how confusing the attacks become. it ruined the whole game for me
