Griftlands is a deck-building roguelite where you negotiate, fight, steal or otherwise persuade others to get your way. Every decision is important, be it the jobs you take, the friends you make, or the cards you collect.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Unfortunately, it is Extremely Shallow. A lot of design choices make it look more complicated than it is, such as by having a map system, relationship system, and dual deck system. But take one look into it, and it is incredibly dumbed down. The Map system - This reminds me closely of Sultan's Game map system, which is just as awful. If you have a roguelike, you don't need this. Just tell the player the options they have in a list and then move whatever token on a map you have for aesthetic reasons. Same goes for within nodes. There's too many unnecessary options presented for the player (Also in a similar since to Sultan's Game). If you are going to have these options, then explain their consequence at least. Because there will be times when what seems like an unnecessary option is what could have saved your life (For example, bribing people to look the other way or kicking them out of establishments for a cost) The relationship system - Characters will either like, love, dislike, or hate you. At first it seems like an interesting mechanic. But play it out, and there isn't actually much there. When loved by someone, you get a persistent buff and when hated by someone, you get a persistent debuff. Not a bad system, but just really shallow. The dual deck System - Arguably the most interesting aspect of this game. But the problem comes with building them. You always start with the same basic deck, always. Then throughout the game you could get some cards (either for 1 deck or the other). What this means is that in every playthrough, your playstyle will be the same until you reach a part where you have ultimately replaced both decks with a specific build. Easily could be done a lot better if there were starting decks that could be unlocked and chosen from. Other issues: Ultimate Skill system - Practically worthless and you will rarely use them until you play for many hours upgrading the ability that builds up its cost. Meta Progression - Same note as above. Super slow meta progression and rewards very little at each step. Voice Acting - God awful. I hate hearing gibberish. Just dont have them talk. I dont understand that design choice. At best, it ruins reading the text for me. At worst, it just makes me want to skip the whole thing. Positives: There are 2 things I like about this game though. 1. Multiple potential builds for any character's deck. 2. The ability to kill or show mercy to enemies in combat. That's it though.

I’ve been coming back to this game since 2020 (don’t trust the play time, I first played on Gog when it was only available there in EA)
What if deckbuilder roguelike but also cool interactive story. Two battlesystems, one being negotiation and the other fighting make game more realistic and my brain go wee
This is an okay game but is clouded by undesirable elements. Before you buy, a word of caution for all achievement hunters: You need to grind a lot more just to achieve most achievements. The achievements are meant to prolong your time in the game, which is already quite repetitive and boring after awhile. It is supposed to be a deck-building game. There are 3 characters that can be played, each with their own story and an initial fixed deck. I finished the first run of the first character and managed to unlock some new cards. Then, I decided to replay the same character for a second run, but I COULDN'T BUILD MY OWN DECK using the new unlocked cards!!! I still have to reuse the same initial fixed deck. This is blasphemy for a deck-building game! The tooltips are somewhat helpful but as the game progresses, new game mechanics appeared either with no explanations or the information given is unclear. The road to the final boss has a fixed number of encounters. The final boss is truly tough. Your luck/choices for every encounter must be spot on if you want to beat the final boss. I think it was programmed to be so, just to prolong your playing time in this game. The so-called Perks are totally useless. The Prestige just makes the game even harder to beat. That's why the % achievements are so low. Go look at them for yourself. I would rate this game as 'meh' if there is such rating. Decided to give it a thumbs down because as I continued playing, it really got worse. I know I will eventually get bored. Rating: 45%
