Griftlands is a deck-building roguelite where you negotiate, fight, steal or otherwise persuade others to get your way. Every decision is important, be it the jobs you take, the friends you make, or the cards you collect.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
So fun, The 3 Characters have enjoyable storys and mechanics. I wish there was more Please make more

I really enjoyed this game, I played and won as both Rook and Sal so far, however Smith I haven't figured out. This game has a neat universe and story line, and allows you to make some fun combos and overall I found this a great experience for a roguelike. As with most roguelikes, it is generally thin to win, I think most people who are downvoting this just can't get a handle of roguelikes and take every card just to lose with them lol. I would recommend the mods this game / community offers, two I have added add two whole new characters and storylines custom made to fit in the universe which add to more fun with this. Would recommend
I downloaded the demo before downloading the official game, so add like 4 hours to my total time; I also have not beaten a run yet (just got past the 1st day, which is where the demo ends), so these are my first thoughts until I edit my review later. I genuinely enjoy this game and I was afraid I wouldn't because of the negative reviews but I genuinely just don't see what they're complaining about. The writing is fine, it's good even, it makes me laugh and chuckle, characters have enough personality to be distinct even if not memorable and the plot/world-building is pretty great. I guess if you were hoping this game was JUST a roguelike deck-builder or w/e then, yeah, this is a lot of reading lol, but I never really let genres and labels stop me from appreciating what I'm playing. The combat is pretty easy and straightforward, I genuinely love upgrades based on usage and I feel like this game does it right: it randomizes what upgrades are possible per card (even if you have multiples), let's you see those upgrades ahead of time (even when you're adding new cards into your deck), and some cards start with xp/use so basically if you're really trying to build your deck in a particular way, that can get you a head start. Nothing about the combat feels overly difficult or too complicated but, yes, you do have to hover over and read things lol: I guess as a Darkest Dungeon enjoyer, that's nbd for me xD I was a little iffy about the negotiation/persuasion fights (so, non-combat combat), but I think it finally clicked for me and I actually enjoy them more than actual fights lol, the dialogue during them is pretty fun too. I am inherently a "try to be everyone's bud" player though, and the game lets you be a real ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ if you want to be too though, so you don't HAVE to negotiate ever if you really want to. Oh, yeah, in fights, you can also spare people for better diplomacy/favoritism, but again, you can just kill people if you want, it does technically make the runs harder, if that's what you're looking for. All-in-all, I am incredibly happy with my purchase (though I did get this 66% off!). I think I'd happily pay 75%-90% for this, but, if I had paid full-price for this, I think I would've been a little let down due to just general lack of polish/impressiveness but nothing that would make me stop recommending it. EDIT: I have officially beat my first run, ending with about 40% completion on your first character, I definitely can see where the complaints are coming from in terms of repeated dialogue and whatnot, but I think that's just coming from people who expected this to be more of an RPG than it really is, which is funny, because basically the complaints seem to whittle down to people who either expected the game to be MORE of one of its component genres than the other: but it's clearly trying to be both and I think it handles it just fine (but, can agree, there are places where the lines do blur a little too much and not in the game's favor). The game is relatively easy on the difficulty you start it in (and not the easy/story mode, which I can only imagine would let you beat it on your first try), honestly, by the 3rd attempt, the only thing that had been giving me trouble was the final boss (which I reached 3 times total in about 6 or so runs, ending some other runs just due to me playing super risky and not wanting to keep playing with my consequences lol) and once I did beat her, it was pretty close but didn't feel hard, which was fine, it felt fair and fun. I am excited to keep playing and discovering more and also playing the other 2 characters. I definitely would still recommend the game but probably at 50% if any of the negative reviews worry you like it did me, you might be pleasantly surprised though! Otherwise, I would still recommend this at, at least, a 10% discount, though I wouldn't have been upset at all had I purchased this at full.
If one enjoys reading a lot of dialogue this game is probably great. I do not enjoy that, at all. The building two decks at the same time didn't really work for me either. Way too many keywords to keep track of initially. I end up only doing combat, which is also very basic Slay The Spire inspired back and forth combat but without the deckbuilding focus. The game is well made, and I liked the "use the same card severa times to upgrade it" system, but that's about the extent of it.

I just realized that I've played this game for more than 5 hours in a day.
I really wanted to like this game, but something about the whole thing felt way too over conceptualized
