At $3 it's not worth refunding, but I completed the entire game in 41 minutes. Without trying to speedrun, just playing normally.
Too short and too simplistic. I was looking for a puzzle / resource management game but this game is focused on SPEED and doing things quickly.
I really loved the game, the art is very beautiful, everything works very well, if you're hesitating just BUY it, it's a short one, but it's so worth it.
Visually attractive but there's no gameplay. Perhaps the developers could use this engine for something more creative and expansive but it would be difficult for anyone over the age of 12 to be entertained by this for very long.
https://youtu.be/SZ5b0NR6tRc This is a cool little asteroid puzzle game, which I did not think I would ever be saying. Overall it is fun as you throws rocks to be destroyed in some crushers! I was able to beat the game in around 30 minutes, however that is not with full achievements, so the game is a little on the short side, but I think you could get to an hour or 2 if your going for 100%. It would be awesome if they added more levels to it at some point, but overall I am happy with what I bought, I did include some gameplay above of the first 2 levels so you can check those out and hopefully you'll get an idea if the game is for you!
"Grid Miner is a real-time strategy puzzle game where you mine asteroids to gather resources and expand your space station." yeah, its NOT. its a series of disjointed puzzles.
Really thought this was going to be a Sandbox style game, from the videos it didn't look like you were going to be stuck doing puzzles and maps are so small... Your rocks run out and its just not fulfilling, but at least it was cheaper than a Bag of Doritos. Learn from me and check the Tags, don't assume from the Steam videos.
One of those cheap games where the game itself is great... but there is just so little content. If there were another 5-10 levels I would definitely recommend it for a good hour of mild puzzle gameplay. which leaves me at one of those weird "I recommend it not as it is, but as it will be in 3-6 months."
The game, is way too small, presentation of the game inclines to think the game has a bigger depth. Level 13 is almost impossible to make even after you harvest all asteroids and sell all unnecessary buildings. I don't see any replayablity and it's not a "cinematic experience" to not consider the length of the game. Difficulty is basically tutorial then you get this level 13 when it's impossible to get through. + there are bugs like saying that Tractor building is pulling 5 cells but the indication shows 6 tiles and no you don't count the tiles you just rely on the game that is shows you correct indication. That's a no for me.
Contrary to it's appearance, this game is not complex. Aside from a handful of odd translation errors, the game is well made enough to hold up to scrutiny. The only error/exploit I found was that, while the game is paused, you are still free to build. This allowed me to finish every level without exceeding the timer. On the topic of time, I was able to finish the game at a slow pace in short enough time I would be able to refund it. If you want to play a highly-simple factory game for 5 bucks, this would be the one. You might even get those five bucks back.
