I am a strictly PVE player, and have had this game for maybe a week now. I LOVE this game, HOWEVER, I have been BANNED for 90 DAYS for quote "Using third party software for your mouse". I can with 110% certainty tell you that i have NEVER had third party software for my mouse and have never cheated in any game in my life because i am boring and don't even know how I would do that. Maybe the Anticheat saw my wireless mouse as some sort of cheat, if so that is a HUGE Problem in the system. Very, Very disappointed in this game and cannot currently recommend it to anyone for this reason. As ive stated before, ive only had this game for maybe a week, ive put 50 hours into it already because i was having so much fun with my cousin. But to lose everything i had on my character and have a 90 day ban put against me for something i did not do is absolutely unacceptable. I have appealed the ban but if this isnt fixed soon my cousin and I will find a new game to play and I recommend you do the same. The only ban ive ever had in my life being to this BS is just ridiculous.
Rat company censoring discussion around the cheating issues the game has
Solid game. Needs optimization for older hardware and it seems reliant on DLAA
Didn't expect to enjoy it this much. Yeah, it still has bugs, but the gameplay keeps pulling me back. Easy recommend if you're into tactical shooters.
this game is full of Hackers. Developers don't do ♥♥♥♥ abt these hackers. They will simply teleport to your location and just hunt u down with one shot on the head in the middle of forest at night while u r running then just lose everything. and it continues on and on fck this game until the dev actually do something abt these mostly chinese, hackers
cant have multiple characters on separate faction to play with friends AI is pretty dumb game still runs poorly, constant stuttering
The game is superb; it had become the one I played the most—my absolute favorite. I had gathered a lot of loot; another player had even given me an L403A1, complete with two 60-round magazines and two 30-round ones. I was fascinated by it. That is, until the Madfinger Games team banned me. A message popped up while I was away on vacation, preventing me from playing. I sent an email and received a reply within a few days—an apology and confirmation that the ban had been lifted. They explained that their protection system had been overly sensitive and apologized for the inconvenience. That’s where the good part ended... I lost all my gear, even though they could have easily restored everything I had on me using their logs. It doesn't seem right; it was their fault, yet they refuse to own up to the mistake. They can forget about me playing for dozens of hours just to win back what I lost. My time is precious; if they won't restore my items, I'd rather play other games—I have over a hundred, so I'm not worried. It shows a lack of respect for players, especially considering the game is still in development. If you make a mistake, you should own it and restore what the player lost. They haven't even replied, despite me sending two follow-up emails. I’m truly disappointed; they only care about selling the game. Otherwise, they act like gods, doing whatever they please with their customers and players. :(
So if you played Tarkov ever this game gives similar feels with some upgrades. Firefights with AI are easier, no scav 360 aimbot headshots. You get the random WTF was that sorta deaths, but not like tarkov. The AI reaction time is kind of sub par, theyre easy to kill if you're careful, easy looting, easy to gear up quick. I can go from no gear no money to a weapon a helmet and vest in maybe 10 minutes. AI tactics are mediocre, basically just take up a position and shoot at you, unless they have the numbers advantage and will push and overwhelm you. Its got a PVE mode which allows you to cut your teeth and gear up easy, do quests and get fame without pvp risk if thats your thing. Personally I will play PVE for about 20 minutes running in and out of airfields with higher tier enemies and use/sell their gear. in 20 mins I can have enough money to buy basically anything I want/need. Then swap over to PVP mode for some more unpredictable encounters. The overall community is way less toxic than Tarkov. People will guide, advise and give you stuff if you dont have it. Personally I find it lots of fun to find low level players and team up with them, give them a basic kit and be their own personal medic as they do the first few quests and figure out how to play. The quests can get repetitive but its a looter/shooter, you need some kind of reason to leave the wire and shoot at stuff, and theres potential for some more in depth storyline down the road, it has a good base to work with. PVP can get real fun when factions are duking it out over fobs in the world. The map displays when contact is made somewhere with enemy players, and naturally people will rush to that spot on both sides. Sometimes you can spend an hour or two just fighting other factions trying to control an area, and with the gear being easier to get and the wait time to get back in the fight not as long as tarkov, you dont feel so bad about dying you just gear back up and go back, you dont have to go rejoining a server. Also no time limits to a raid, nor kicked from that server upon death. You can and I have tracked my gear down(game has gps trackers you can attach to gear) and killed the player who killed me and took my stuff. I would like to see them address a few issues, but its good fun as it is.
Don't buy until they fixed the cheaters. I've accumulated a 170 hours faster than probably any other game I ever owned. It's really addictive. The PVE is nice for a time, but where the real metal is, is in the PVP. This game has the best PVP experience I have ever seen. But there also lies the problem, because apparently the pressure is too much for some people to handle and they resort to cheating. You can see what those cheats look like on YouTube. Why anyone would play that is beyond me. Maybe some people were dropped on their heads as a child. But what's even more, they really ruin the experience for everyone else. I'm not one to ♥♥♥♥♥ and moan often, and I'm usually a person who focusses on the positive things. But this cheating issue is so destructive to this game, that I would rather I never started playing it. I tried to get a refund, but it was denied. Please listen to my advice and hold off buying this game until somebody at Madfinger Games decided to do anything meaningful about this problem.
