Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Same day: best JP #89, worst CA #91 · 2 markets collected
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 20/day in the week to Sep 1 → 30.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

They've made so many changes that go against what the community wants. They don't listen to any suggestions or complaints on the Discord. They changed it so you can't die from things that should be instant deaths, i.e headshots and heart shots, and instead made it so you go into an 8 minute coma from lethal damage. They're also changing it so that PvE and PvEvP progress are separated. This goes against their marketing, which borders on false advertising and is definitely scammy behavior, but it's also bad news for anyone who wants to dip their toes into PvEvP because the game is full of sweats and hackers, so there's a good chance you'll lose all your gear and have no way to get it back because of said sweats and hackers. Before, you'd at least be able to go into PvE and get gear back, but soon you won't be able to, so any casual players run the chance of being softlocked and having to wipe to get basic gear back just to lose it to sweats again. Not to mention that the game runs like ♥♥♥♥ if you don't have the best system. If Steam had a rating system, I'd give this game a 3/10

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 17: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Rampant Cheaters, Censorship of cheating by the Devs Stay away
Gray Zone Warfare is in a really good place right now. The gunplay is excellent — weapons feel weighty, recoil is realistic, and the ballistics actually matter. Every fight feels tense because you never know if that AI patrol is about to turn into a player ambush. The map is massive and atmospheric. There’s something about moving through Lamang that just feels different from other extraction shooters. The sound design is top tier too. You can actually hear footsteps and distant gunfire from far away, which adds so much to the immersion. What really stands out to me is how much the game has improved since launch. The devs have been consistently updating it and it shows. Performance is way better than it used to be, AI feels more dangerous, and the recent patches have made PvP and PvE both more enjoyable. It still has that hardcore feel, but it’s not as punishing as it once was. I mostly play with a group of friends but solo can be fun too. There’s a real sense of progression when you finally extract with good loot after a risky run. The game rewards patience and good positioning instead of just running and gunning. If you’ve been waiting for it to improve or you’re looking for a more grounded tactical shooter than Tarkov, now is actually a pretty good time to try it. It’s not perfect yet, but it’s come a long way and it’s genuinely fun right now. Highly recommend giving it a shot.
So if you played Tarkov ever this game gives similar feels with some upgrades. Firefights with AI are easier, no scav 360 aimbot headshots. You get the random WTF was that sorta deaths, but not like tarkov. The AI reaction time is kind of sub par, theyre easy to kill if you're careful, easy looting, easy to gear up quick. I can go from no gear no money to a weapon a helmet and vest in maybe 10 minutes. AI tactics are mediocre, basically just take up a position and shoot at you, unless they have the numbers advantage and will push and overwhelm you. Its got a PVE mode which allows you to cut your teeth and gear up easy, do quests and get fame without pvp risk if thats your thing. Personally I will play PVE for about 20 minutes running in and out of airfields with higher tier enemies and use/sell their gear. in 20 mins I can have enough money to buy basically anything I want/need. Then swap over to PVP mode for some more unpredictable encounters. The overall community is way less toxic than Tarkov. People will guide, advise and give you stuff if you dont have it. Personally I find it lots of fun to find low level players and team up with them, give them a basic kit and be their own personal medic as they do the first few quests and figure out how to play. The quests can get repetitive but its a looter/shooter, you need some kind of reason to leave the wire and shoot at stuff, and theres potential for some more in depth storyline down the road, it has a good base to work with. PVP can get real fun when factions are duking it out over fobs in the world. The map displays when contact is made somewhere with enemy players, and naturally people will rush to that spot on both sides. Sometimes you can spend an hour or two just fighting other factions trying to control an area, and with the gear being easier to get and the wait time to get back in the fight not as long as tarkov, you dont feel so bad about dying you just gear back up and go back, you dont have to go rejoining a server. Also no time limits to a raid, nor kicked from that server upon death. You can and I have tracked my gear down(game has gps trackers you can attach to gear) and killed the player who killed me and took my stuff. I would like to see them address a few issues, but its good fun as it is.
Эта дура не работает в РФ, подавитесь своим го""ном. Вы просто ссыте играть против русских игроков. Tarkov one love сyчки
The game is superb; it had become the one I played the most—my absolute favorite. I had gathered a lot of loot; another player had even given me an L403A1, complete with two 60-round magazines and two 30-round ones. I was fascinated by it. That is, until the Madfinger Games team banned me. A message popped up while I was away on vacation, preventing me from playing. I sent an email and received a reply within a few days—an apology and confirmation that the ban had been lifted. They explained that their protection system had been overly sensitive and apologized for the inconvenience. That’s where the good part ended... I lost all my gear, even though they could have easily restored everything I had on me using their logs. It doesn't seem right; it was their fault, yet they refuse to own up to the mistake. They can forget about me playing for dozens of hours just to win back what I lost. My time is precious; if they won't restore my items, I'd rather play other games—I have over a hundred, so I'm not worried. It shows a lack of respect for players, especially considering the game is still in development. If you make a mistake, you should own it and restore what the player lost. They haven't even replied, despite me sending two follow-up emails. I’m truly disappointed; they only care about selling the game. Otherwise, they act like gods, doing whatever they please with their customers and players. :(
Don't buy until they fixed the cheaters. I've accumulated a 170 hours faster than probably any other game I ever owned. It's really addictive. The PVE is nice for a time, but where the real metal is, is in the PVP. This game has the best PVP experience I have ever seen. But there also lies the problem, because apparently the pressure is too much for some people to handle and they resort to cheating. You can see what those cheats look like on YouTube. Why anyone would play that is beyond me. Maybe some people were dropped on their heads as a child. But what's even more, they really ruin the experience for everyone else. I'm not one to ♥♥♥♥♥ and moan often, and I'm usually a person who focusses on the positive things. But this cheating issue is so destructive to this game, that I would rather I never started playing it. I tried to get a refund, but it was denied. Please listen to my advice and hold off buying this game until somebody at Madfinger Games decided to do anything meaningful about this problem.
I got to test the game for 5 hours (first session), and honestly, the game is cool, even though there are a few optimization issues and I ran into a glitch in one of the early quests where one of the clues wouldn’t spawn (the game is in Early Access, so it’s not like no one was warned). I wish the developers the best of luck in polishing their game, because it has a solid foundation… but… HOWEVER If you have money to waste here, you’ve come to the right place. Welcome. I ran into a problem with Easy Anti-Cheat as soon as I tried to launch the game for the second time, and since then, nothing has worked. The game doesn't start anymore. I’ve been trying to fix it for several days, but I’ve reached the point where I simply have to give up. The game is a lost cause for me (EAC error: Unknown File Version / Error 7023: “The parameter is incorrect” in Windows Event Viewer). I don’t know whether it’s related to my version of Windows (22H2 Build 19045.7663), but I’ve tried EVERYTHING: reinstalling the game, verifying the game files, completely reinstalling Easy Anti-Cheat through CMD, checking for and fixing potential Windows corruption (DISM/sfc), moving the game to another SSD, trying with and without Secure Boot, with and without Core Isolation... and despite checking the relevant registry entries and signatures confirming that I’m using a clean version of EAC... nothing works This is one of those times where I’ve learned my lesson. I will no longer buy from or support developers who impose third-party software as a quick-and-dirty solution to ensure their game runs "smoothly". As much as I hate cheaters and everything related to cheating, if Easy Anti-Cheat were a real solution to this problem, everyone would know about it. I understand why developers want anti-cheat solutions but it’s a shame that developers rely on shoddy, off-the-shelf solutions just to save time. Just because these solutions are widespread doesn’t mean they’ve proven to be effective in any way. And the irony is that this isn't even a purely multiplayer game: it also offers a PvE experience that can be played solo... and I’m still locked out because of a third-party program that won't let me launch the game I paid for because it can't communicate properly with the game itself and my system. We have to face the facts: today, massively multiplayer games are overrun with cheaters, and right now, cheat developers are one step ahead of game developers. So multiplayer games are dead, or at least seem to be on their way out for now. In any case, I’d like to thank MADFINGER for turning their game into a complete waste of software that doesn’t stop cheaters from cheating but does stop players from playing.
I refunded it, - a lot - of people give it glowing reviews if you go into wanting a great PvE experience. It all seems to vibe -- Open World, three factions, etc. I'm looking for a sequel to Ghost Recon: Breakpoint/Wildlands. I'm not concerned at all about the PvP. It isn't even close to a good game. The AI is atrocious, clearing an area to have enemies respawn right next to their dead body with the same exact load-out was absurd. I think people are so thirsty for a true sequel of Ghost Recon: Wildlands and look past a lot of things. The graphics are not close to good, at all. I do not need full voice-over campaign, I rather liked how the missions are handled. However, two things matter, how enemies behave and gunplay. The core gameplay loop is fundamentally flawed. Incursion Red River and Single Player Tarkov with BigBrain/SAIN have A.I. miles ahead of this game. The UI needs a massive overhaul. Its a shame, no game can capture the atmosphere of The Division and Wildlands, give a massive open-world map with robust systems while also delivering fluid, weighted, and 'arcade MilSim' weapon handling of Tarkov, Ghost Recon, with a lived-in Division world.
If you're even remotely interested in PvP, do NOT buy this game. If you're only interested in PvE, read the PvE part of this review. Look, I've really tried to like the game. The ambiance. The jungle. The guns. It's gorgeous. But it stops right there. Everything else is super basic. Let's first talk about the PvP mode : people will cheat, team kill you to loot your stuff, verbally insult you, and there's no action being taken. The "aggressor" system is more inconvenient for legit players than for griefters, who just dont care. Just like in any game there's a report button, but if it worked, the game wouldnt be plagued by people like that, would they ? The dev just dont have time to deal with griefters, cheaters, and bad actors. You also dont get any feedback when you report a player, so you dont know if any action is being taken. But again, if it worked, you wouldnt constantly run into cheaters and toxic people. I really want to emphasise this : you will encounter a cheater in almost every fight you take. Not because every player cheat, but because 80% of the playerbase just plays Pve (I'll touch on the Pve in a second). Out of the 20% left that want to try PvP: - 10% will touch it once, have a horrible experience, and never comeback again - 5% will try to play the PvP mode but will mostly run away from fights - the 5% remaining that plays PvP daily and constantly engage in combat is, you guessed it, the cheaters So when you do PvP and someone tries to fight you, it's probably a cheater. They'll know where you are. They'll know where your team members are. You're just gonna get one shotted and so will your teammates be. "well, there are cheaters in every game these days, so..." Well, yes and no. First of all dying to a cheater in Cod where you'll respawn in 2 sec isnt the same thing as losing 3h worth of grind in Grayzone being 1 shotted by a guy you never saw or heard. Then again. And again. And again. What I've just described is the norm in PvP, not some rare event. "Alright, I'll play the PvE then". That's cool, and that's what the overwhelming majority of people do. But I'll be honest : why not play Ghost Recon Wildland ? it provides the same experience, but better in almost every way. The PvE in grayzone is mainly walking, killing very stiff and primitive AI, finding an object, pressing F, and going back to base. It's literally that over and over and over again. There are no dialogues, most places look copy pasted, most enemies looks like clones. I'll concede that if you read (keyword: READ) all the tasks, you can get a grasp of the lore and get immersed a bit more. But again, whenever you're going to "rescue" an american tourist, of find "what happened" to an informant, or look for "intel" about such and such, you'll just find the same body, dead, somewhere on the map. It's the same model. They're not unique. Playing the game, you can tell where the focus of the devs went : Our character model, our guns, the animations you get when you take some pills, the jungle, the ballistic, the health system, all that look very detailed and polished. Everything else is super rough around the edges. The game feels super sterile. There is not a single friendly NPC. Just a quick example, but you cant do infiltration in this game. The moment you kill ONE Npc, they all know where you are. They're too dumb to charge you - and if they did the game would be unplayable - but they'll know where you are. Even if you killed the game from a deep forest 100m away with a suppressor. Consider that what most dedicated players do is they will go to a place, kill the NPCs (which they know the spawn location by heart, literally they'll know that one guy spawns in the kitchen, 3 guys in the tech room, there's a sniper there, etc.), loot, go back to base, sell, get 50-100k, and do that over and over and over again - in PvE. If the AI was super dynamic I guess that could work, but it's not. It's very surface level. Due to the game being what it is you can sink a lot of hours into it, you'll probably need 10 h to just understand how the game works. You'll meet some nice people. If you like teaming up with a random guy and go kill some random Ai in the most chill, risk free, relaxing way in a beautiful environment, the game might be for you. If you're looking for anything more than that - and especially if you're looking for a game where there's some element of PvP, and keep in mind I'm NOT talking about some constant action just some decent, organic PvP for example when players would compete for the same POI - that's not it. The sad thing is that the devs have great ideas for the next update, but I dont know if it'll work, because I'm not sure PvP can even work in this game given how many cheaters are there. And also, most players just want to PvE, and the devs know that. I mean its really sad because there's some kind of soul to this game that makes me want to love it, but in the current state I cant give a positive review. PS: Btw, the subreddit censors and downvote almost everything, so if you buy the game and don't like it, you'll have nowhere to complain. Trust the charts. 1.7M copies sold, 3K concurrent players.
