Reviews
Comfortable game, more complex than it would appear at first.
Jogo incrivelmente viciante.
Great game

Graveyard Keeper is a beautifully animated, cozy management sim that captures the visual charm of Stardew Valley but pairs it with a dark, complex, and often frustrating gameplay loop. Visually, the game is an absolute delight, featuring gorgeous pixel art, detailed animations, and an atmospheric world that creates a surprisingly comforting environment despite its morbid subject matter. It successfully hooks you early on with its unique premise of managing a medieval cemetery, offering a deep crafting system and a loop that feels addictive during its best moments. However, the cozy exterior hides a deeply punishing lack of direction that frequently grinds your progress to a halt. The game offers almost no guidance on what to do or what to avoid, forcing you to rely heavily on external wikis just to understand basic progression. This frustration is heavily magnified by the NPC system, as the game fails to clearly track or explain which character provides specific items, quests, or upgrades. Because key NPCs only appear on specific days of the weekly cycle, forgetting a single detail means waiting an entire in-game week just to move forward, turning a potentially relaxing experience into a tedious exercise in trial and error.
