About
In Grand Cru, every decision you make — from the vineyard to the wine glass — shapes your wine's final score.

🌍 Terroir — Soil type, climate, and vine age determine your grape's potential before you touch a single cluster.

🪵 Oak Barrels — French, Hungarian, or American oak — each variety, freshness level, and grape tolerance shifts the flavor profile. Pick wrong and you'll flatten the fruit.

⭐ Four Pillars of Quality — Your wine is scored on Structure, Authenticity, Finish, and Complexity — just like real wine critics evaluate Bordeaux.

📊 Critics vs. Public — Critics reward complexity and structure. The public wants fruit and approachability. The same wine can score 90 with one and 65 with the other. Know your market.
Create your own wine style. Your vineyard, your rules.

FINALLY. This is the game I've been searching for my whole life as a wine lover 🍷 A wine-making management sim that actually gets it right — fermenting, oak barrel aging, buying properties, blending… I literally lost track of time. The depth is insane. Personally I'm obsessed with Burgundy wines, PLEASE make a Burgundy expansion pack. And the storyline about the father's wine?? Did NOT expect to feel things playing a wine sim 😭 Whoever made this clearly has a deep passion for wine — the accuracy and detail blew me away.
This is it. If you have been looking for a winemaking simulator, this is going to be the one you want to keep an eye on. First, the iffy parts of the game. It is definitely early access. You have some pretty rough visuals paired with AI-generated backdrops. You go from basic shape abstract intro to detailed oil paintings of erudite wine buyers in a matter of seconds. It's a bit jarring. The game definitely has bugs, the English translations are solid but it suddenly includes Korean text in some areas. Definitely early access. But the core of the game has it. The detail is there. I am actually learning what it takes to make it as a wine maker on Bordeaux. The story is engaging and fun, in barely 30 minutes of playing I've already gotten a great backstory and am fully committed. The gameplay loop is fun as hell, the interface isn't terrible, the developer is responsive and forthcoming, and <3 for having a port for Mac so I don't have to run a Virtual Machine (Mac version runs flawlessly too). I'd say buy the game, support the dev, and let's help this vision reach it's full potential.
Definitely enjoying this game. Very impressed by the wealth of wine information and accuracy that similar games are lacking. Certainly makes for a fun afternoon or two. Edit: The updates have been flowing and I'm so happy to see this wonderful little escape grow and expand! I have removed points of my review that have been fixed through updates.
Great little game!!! Vey fun, easy to learn, and satisfying. Also, appropriately detailed for it's relative simplicity, as in different AOCs/regions having different soils and the different soils appropriately being more suited to one grape or another, and like the need to harvest well; it's frustrating to get rain, but it shows that if you put in the investment and effort earlier in the year, you can offset some bad weather. This is all from playing on the LegionGO, so my issues my partially be only there. There are a number of little confusing things that would be great to see adjusted: - Blending wines - I can't see which specific lots, so I have to guess. Would be nice to have a fuller project menu to see old wines, etc. - I'd also like maybe a bit more options in blending, like a 3-way blend or more, but I see how that could get exponentially more complicated. -I'm not sure I understand the wine rating system. If most things seem to go well all year and the initial estimated rating is 86, why did I get a 71? - Some of the purchasing choices from the characters seem arbitrary. I'd get if one guy didn't buy white wine, but if I have two Merlot bottlings from sister lots that scored within a point of each other, why does one character not want both, but I can go sell everything else? - I'd like to be able to click on a character to sell to and have a large menu where I can check each wine I want to sell within that character's deal menu, and also maybe to decide on bottle quantity and price separately (but where they still influence each other, obviously) - A bit more time and/or workability in harvesting regarding weather seems needed. Not sure what. - Also, the end of season results menu that pops up is always cut if half for me, but I've only been playing it on my LegionGO so far. I think the move up the Bordeaux rankings ladder is too fast (like I'm number 1 overall, but I've only had two 90+ wines.) -Regarding menus, the whole game certainly looks nice and orderly, but various menus could be much more efficient/ergonomic is information displayed and in various controls, like the Spring menu with planting, pruning, and soil treatment, or the sale menu where I can see the name I gave the wine, it's category, it's estimated value. etc. - I want to unlock more restricted buyers higher up in the levels. It's nice to see Charles de Rothschild, but I want some more like him, and I don't want to see that option till I've consistently made X-number of X-point wines for X-amount of years or consistency, etc. - I think awards and news should be harder to achieve - I have no idea where I am in the progress of attaining Father's blend. I know the components, but am I waiting for anything else? if I have an 86 point X and an 82 point Y, why is the blend 75 points? And if my tasting skills is maxed, why does it say I need to taste more wine before gleaning more information about the saved bottles from Father? And shouldn't his wine be rated like 99? Love the game!!! Keep it up!
Finally a wine simulator with great potential. I agree with a lot of others who already wrote positive comments. So to the developer I say: keep up the good work! I do have a tip that would help me as a (lazy) gamer: The amount of AP points per round is a bit too low. It helps to support to decision making in the game, but sometimes without realising I am left with zero points and still need to do winery work like wine making. Somebody wrote a comment that the whole wine making process should be separated from the AP points. I feel the same. Further, some menu's could use a better background (like the winery). Goodluck with the rest of the development!
