Gothic Murder: Adventure That Changes Destiny

༶•┈┈୨♡୧┈┈•༶ I misjudged this game based on the little amount of reviews it had. Big mistake. This game has quickly become a huge favourite of mine. It has everything a girl needs; romance, a murder mystery, and cute anime guys. The art is so good, and I love how clever the mysteries are. I wish I had played this game sooner.

Cute game, it kept me entertained! I want expecting much, tbh, but in the end the story was too good. I was thinking of one culprit, then the other, then the other, it only became more obvious at the very end of the last chapter. Not long, but quite entertaining and cute. I wanted more romance, though, but that wasn't the focus of the game so it's okay.

The plot and content of the game are well organized. It's a very realistic and fun detective otome game. You will enjoy solving mysterious cases. and search for evidence to prove the truthใ (The translated words not too difficult to understand For those who are not very good at English) For anyone who likes story-rich, detective-type games, I recommend it from the bottom of my heart.

Un bon petit jeu d'enquête avec une petite de romance (2 fins possibles niveau romance + 20 bad endings) Le prix du jeu est de 9,99€. Sa durée de vie est d'environ 7h en visant le 100%. J'ai apprécié le fait de pouvoir utiliser le tableau des choix pour pouvoir explorer toutes les bad endings. Les romances sont mignonnes mais pour ceux que ça n'intéresse absolument pas, elles sont assez discrètes, sauf à la fin, où elles déterminent le destin de l'héroïne. Pour ma part, j'ai acheté le jeu en solde. Sans réduction, je trouve qu'il vaut quand même son prix car l'histoire est intéressante, ainsi que les différents retournements du scénario. Jusqu'à la fin, je n'ai pas pu deviner qui était le vrai coupable. A prix réduit, il vaut largement son prix !! Je conseille donc ce jeu aux amateurs de jeux d'enquête et de soft romance. :)

This a mystery visual novel, with little bits of romance, in which a recently employed maid has dreams about her master being killed. Can she help him avoid his fate? The plot is really interesting, with lot of charming characters. The gameplay consists of texts and a system of investigation and interrogation. The system of investigation consists of exploring the area and solving puzzles, in order to obtain clues of what is happening. The interrogation consists of presenting evidences and selecting the right answers. All these elements fits really well with the main story. With charming visuals and good gameplay, the game also has two romance interest and several bad endings, depending on how you answer. Most people do not like bad endings very much, but in this game it is really interesting. They vary, they provide new information about the characters' personality, so I strongly recommend to play them. However, do not worry, the game has a flow chart that allows you to get to certain points in the game in case you achieved a bad ending without saving. Also, the localization is very good, with few typos.

Short and sweet mystery visual novel with a decent story from start to end. If you like this genre, I would recommend it! Nice art style as well.

I've read other reviews before playing this game saying that this is not an otome game, but I'm of the opinion that it *is* an otome game. The romance is very light, but it's still there. And the only endings that give you achievements are romance endings. Still, if you're playing this for the romance, you might end up unsatisfied because it's mostly crumbs/sprinkles. The main appeal of this game is the mystery (plus playing as a female protagonist in a mystery/deduction kind of game). The investigation parts were pretty fun and made me use my brain a bit. You don't really have to get all the bad endings, but I'm a completionist so I got every ending. And ngl, some bad endings were kinda funny 😭 The game was pretty short, but the length is just right imo. Overall, it was an enjoyable game and it was a perfect break between long VNs. P.S. [spoiler] The romance was quite Irving-focused, but I liked Ewen's ending the most. We love an accountable and reliable man who has prepared for your future together 💯[/spoiler]

A nice mystery game! Kinda hope it bit longer or maybe have sequel! But never less, its very enjoyable to play! To bad they do not have voice acting, but that doesn't stop me from playing!

This game was fine in my opinion. The controls were kind of clunky and the plot was pretty predictable, but I enjoyed it well enough. I would recommend it to people who like Phoenix Wright-style mechanics (e.g. interrogations, presenting evidence). I would not play this for romance, as the romance is really minor.
