Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 6 → 0/day in the week after.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews

Gopnik Simulator is a small indie clicker-style game developed and published by Gamesforgames that transforms a well-known cultural stereotype into a humorous incremental gameplay experience. Instead of presenting a large open world or complex mechanics, the game focuses on simple interactions built around repeated actions and gradual progression. Players assume the role of a stereotypical “gopnik,” a character archetype commonly associated with post-Soviet street culture, and participate in a variety of exaggerated everyday activities while building influence and resources through an idle-style gameplay loop. The game’s concept revolves around parody and exaggeration. Rather than trying to realistically depict a specific culture or lifestyle, it leans into the comedic stereotype associated with the term “gopnik.” The player’s character spends their time engaging in activities that are humorously associated with this image, such as socializing, consuming snacks and drinks, and interacting with their surroundings in ways that gradually increase their in-game statistics. The tone is intentionally lighthearted and satirical, making it clear that the goal is entertainment rather than serious simulation. Gameplay follows the structure typical of incremental or clicker games. The player begins with a few simple actions available, each of which can be triggered by clicking a button or icon on the interface. Performing these actions generates various resources that represent the character’s progress and status. Over time, these resources accumulate and allow players to purchase upgrades that make actions more efficient. As the upgrades stack and numbers increase, the rate of progress accelerates, creating a loop where each improvement makes it easier to generate even more resources. The game features several different resource types that represent the character’s growing influence and activity. These resources function as currencies used to unlock new features or enhance existing abilities. Managing these resources becomes the central strategic element of the game. Players must decide which upgrades to purchase first and how to balance their spending in order to maximize efficiency. Although the system is simple, it creates a sense of progression as players gradually expand their capabilities. Achievements play a significant role in encouraging continued play. The game includes a large number of achievements tied to specific milestones, such as reaching certain resource totals or performing actions a particular number of times. These achievements provide additional goals for players beyond simply increasing their statistics. For players who enjoy completing achievement lists on platforms like Steam, this feature can become a major incentive to keep interacting with the game. Visually, Gopnik Simulator relies on a straightforward interface-driven presentation rather than a detailed game world. The screen primarily consists of menus, icons, and counters that display available actions and current resource totals. Instead of moving a character through environments, players interact with the game through these interface elements. The artwork often references the exaggerated cultural imagery associated with the game’s theme, reinforcing its comedic and satirical tone. The minimalistic interface design serves a practical purpose within the clicker genre. By keeping the visuals simple and focusing on clearly labeled buttons and resource indicators, the game allows players to quickly understand how the mechanics work. The lack of complex environments or animations means that the gameplay remains focused entirely on the incremental progression system. Sound design contributes to the game’s identity by incorporating music and sound effects inspired by Eastern European street culture aesthetics. The background music helps reinforce the playful tone while giving the game a distinctive atmosphere. Sound effects accompany many of the player’s actions, providing small bursts of feedback that make the repetitive clicking feel slightly more satisfying. A defining aspect of the game is its endless progression structure. There is no final level or ultimate goal that signals the completion of the game. Instead, players continue accumulating resources and unlocking upgrades indefinitely. The sense of accomplishment comes from reaching increasingly larger numbers and unlocking more achievements. This design mirrors many other idle and clicker games, where the experience revolves around steady growth rather than reaching a defined endpoint. The simplicity of the gameplay can be both a strength and a weakness depending on the player’s expectations. Fans of incremental games may appreciate the straightforward progression and the satisfaction of watching resource numbers increase over time. For players who enjoy checking in periodically to upgrade systems and track progress, the game provides a casual and low-pressure experience. However, players who prefer more traditional gameplay mechanics may find the experience repetitive. Because the game revolves almost entirely around clicking actions and purchasing upgrades, the gameplay loop remains largely unchanged throughout the experience. There are few surprises or dramatic shifts in mechanics as the player progresses, which may cause the game to feel limited after extended play. Another factor shaping the experience is the game’s scale. As a small indie project, Gopnik Simulator does not attempt to compete with large simulation titles or expansive idle games with multiple systems. Instead, it offers a compact experience centered on a single humorous concept. This smaller scope can make the game feel more like a novelty than a fully developed simulation. Despite its limitations, the game manages to carve out a unique identity through its unusual theme. The use of cultural parody and exaggerated stereotypes gives the game a sense of personality that distinguishes it from many other incremental titles. While the gameplay mechanics themselves are familiar to fans of the genre, the theme provides a comedic twist that may appeal to players looking for something unusual. Overall, Gopnik Simulator is a niche incremental game that prioritizes humor and simplicity over complexity. Its gameplay loop revolves around repeated actions, resource accumulation, and achievement hunting, offering a casual experience that can be enjoyed in short sessions. While it lacks the depth and variety found in more elaborate idle games, its satirical tone and unconventional theme make it a curious and sometimes amusing addition to the clicker game genre.
