Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.

I'm honestly torn on this game. I wanted to love it because of it's whacky nature. I mean you literally sell energy drinks to zombies, which is pretty funny if you think about, I mean come on! GOOD THINGS: The retail part is solid and the animations are mostly solid. Selling energy drinks to zombies is funny for obvious reasons. The game feels immersive at times. I didn't have a single crash. BAD THINGS: The hunting mechanic needs work. After you shoot a deer there is a high chance that the blood trail will vanish, or the deer will run into a spot that's covered by an invisible wall if you're not quick enough. You have a very small amount of ammo, so you have to make every round count! Ammo is insanely expensive! Your character is really slow. Invisible walls hinder your hunting. You need to hunt a ton of deer just to avoid running out of ingredients. KNOWN GLITCHES: If you stock your Deer Goo and move the shelf that its on there is a chance your Deer Goo will vanish. Sometimes you'll get stuck in the gas station door. (This is extremely rare!) Overall I'd give this game a 5/10 in the state that the game is in right now. I'll probably change my score to an 8/10 if the hunting gets patched. I understand this is an indie game so I want the game to succeed, but it needs work, and I'm willing to wait. Edit: I'm upping my rating to a strong 6/10 after the second patch. The hunting was improved significantly, but something else happened. In my game I had two deer spawn, and even though I shot the first one in the head it still managed to run, and the blood trail despawned instantly. The second deer despawn as soon as it went behind a rock, and after that no more deer spawned for me. I might have just got a bad playthrough, but its worth mentioning. Still a fun game. Also I'm grateful for the controller support. It actually works. Thank you VML Studios for putting in the effort. You're awesome.

This current trending of shop metrics definitely rejuvenates within this forest hunting scenario.
This game is nice
I really liked the game, there are areas for improvement, although I feel that having days when I choose to open the store or close it to go hunting would be better. but I loved the game. I keep working on it.
very fun horror and market simulator game x) could benefit of some updates :)
So far, I will admit it's *kinda* difficult. One thing that need to be improved include the HYPER sensitive hearing/sensing mechanics that the deer have. They start running the moment you can see them, even if they are across the entire map. Another thing would be the spawn rate of the deer. They seem to spawn in clumps, like a herd would, however they also only appear seemingly in minimal locations and en mass, so they are there and then gone seemingly. I am enjoying the game, I enjoy the simulation meets Deer Hunter vibes. I can't enjoy Don Stump enough. A few QoL improvements could make this good game better, so I will continue to remain optimistic in it's growth! For a more in depth review, please check out the Konsole Kombat Podcast!
Like i understand it is low graphics game but the concept is to different and like to good it is a combination of a horror game, super market sim and a satisfactory little bit because in this game you have to construct the products or manufacture it.
Alright, I was very sceptical about this game when I was aproached to play it for a YouTube video, I'll be honest. I wish I could give a neutral review, because I can certainly see where this game is trying to go, but the deer hunting mechanics are what is completely destroys me. Unless you, like me, run into what seems to be their spawn point by accident, you will run around aimlessly, trying to spot them. And when you do, they will speed off faster than the Millenium Falcon doing the Kessel run. I played this game twice, and I will admit one thing. The story does intrigue me. I will give no spoilers, but I can also not recommend it. The game has potential, I'll give you that, but on 2 different computers, the game had serious performance issues. These included: - Screen tearing on my Laptop (with a RTX 4060M under Windows 10. No Problems with a 3060 12GB Model under Debian 13, using GE Proton 10.34. V-Synch was on both times) - Stutters whenever a new area was loaded (Same issue on both machines) (Addendum: These stutters and FPS dips resolved themselves once the new areas were fully loaded) - Game Freeze when it first loads and lasts between 2-15 seconds (right when the player spawns at his shop. Issue persisted on both machines) - The Sound sliders in the menu seem to do nothing and Soundeffects are sometimes really loud. Beware Headset users. - My i7 12th Gen CPU in my Laptop has to thermal throttle, since it shot up to 95 degrees, leading to lags. My GPU ran cool. (Under Linux I also noticed that my CPU started to heat up considerably, this one being a Ryzen 9 3900 with an AIO with 3 140mm fans) - Pop-in. That was what made hunting really hard for me. I had textures or entire trees pop in as I aimed at a deer, causing me to miss my shot. And I can't say it enough. Please give us a way to actually locate the deer. The Flashlight at night and the blood once you've shot them help, but are not enough. A map would also go a long way to help you find your placed traps If there is some TLC put into it, and the graphics improved a bit, I can see this game becoming quite popular. And don't get me wrong. I am certainly not a graphics snob that won't play anything below 4k. I usually play at 1080/60 because that's enough for me. I even still enjoy a bit of Duke Nukem 3D from time to time. What I mean here is, that the models are fine, but the enviremont makes it hard to see things at times. Just take the field in front of the cabin in the woods. A deer goes in and... disappears. It's still there... somewhere.... But even from a hill I can't see it. I'll likely try again and maybe even stream this game. It deserves some attention. Also: Really? Spawn the deer man without having spoken to BB yet, killing me on my best run yet as I finally managed to kill 3 deer? I really don't like that the game erases your save once youz die, but that is when I realized this game is meant to be competetive. (Even has Leaderboard)
Goo Deer is a very interesting game, especially because it is not just another relaxing store simulator where you simply manage a shop, upgrade your equipment, and repeat the same routine. This game adds a unique challenge by combining gas station management with hunting mechanics, and honestly, this is the part that I love the most. The story is also one of the things that kept me playing. I really wanted to know what actually happened to the main character before he started working at the gas station, and what is the real story behind the strange customers that come to the store. I saw some comments mentioning that the game completely resets after you die and you can lose all your progress. At first, I actually agreed with that criticism because it can feel frustrating. However, after surviving for about a week in-game, I started to understand the actual flow and rhythm of the game. You just need the right strategy. For example, I prefer hunting during the morning because it is safer and you can avoid the danger of the Big Deer Man. During nighttime, I focus more on production, managing the store, and preparing my supplies. If you need more deer resources, you can buy traps and place them near the rocky paths beside the river. The deer will eventually get caught, making hunting much easier. The biggest lesson in this game is balance. You need to manage your time between hunting, producing Goo Deer, stocking your shelves, and surviving. Don't become too greedy when hunting, because sometimes staying alive is more important than getting extra resources. Overall, Goo Deer is a unique survival management game with a great atmosphere, an interesting mystery, and gameplay that keeps you thinking about your next move. It may feel difficult at first, but once you understand the strategy, the game becomes much more enjoyable. Recommended for players who enjoy management games with a little bit of survival, horror, and exploration.
