For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I have played through four of the easy modes and just now trying to do medium. I do not make it far because I can't really get the deer. I've bought the bear traps and made sure to stand still and crouched and can hardly get any...going several days without a single deer. I don't understand why it's so difficult. I would love either a "Cozy" mode where it isn't that difficult or that to be rectified with either skills your player can get to be sneakier or something. Sometimes the game is a bit buggy, like with attacking raiders and it doesn't register. I don't like that every play through I have to redo the tutorial even when selecting "skip tutorial". I love the concept of this game and just the gameplay, for the most part, hence the reason I've played it so many times. I would just like to know how to shoot the deer, ha. Not everyone is super great at video games and I'd really love to play this and feel like I'm getting somewhere instead of every day with no deer. On that note, maybe there could be another way to get goo deer without shooting deer even if that mean it isn't worth as much or doesn't give you as much as the deer itself. Still a great game. Excited to see changes made to it.
Streamed this game: https://www.youtube.com/live/IsMPZHVae_A?si=AISQBsZ-YujWBwrS (youtube @GeneralTauroneo) First look and review: Summary: Great game, really lured me in and the tutorial is fun, short and very much needed in my opinion. Positive: - Different ways to play. Be a shop keeper, a hunter, a manager+employee - Defend your store: found this out when I was already dead lol - Save game is gone on defeat, high stakes (I guess some might find this negative) - Leaderboard - Controls are easy, didn't even have to look any of them up - Lots of upgrades! - Scary world Negative: - World felt for me a bit too bland every now and then, but I didn't make it in too far and well, it's post apocalypse - Could've gotten some kind of warning that you better stay at the store at night if you don't have guards :-) - Maybe make Permadeath an option. Pretty sure if I'm hours upon hours in, that I probably won't restart the game again. I'd add an option where a death brings you back to a saved game maybe?

I really enjoyed my time with **Goo Deer**. It offers a surprisingly well-balanced mix of management, exploration, resource gathering, and horror without any one element feeling like it overstays its welcome. The management side is satisfying and gives you a steady sense of progression, while venturing out into the fog provides a nice change of pace and adds tension to the overall experience. I especially appreciated how smoothly the game transitions between these different styles of gameplay. Visually, **Goo Deer** also does a great job. The graphics are clean and appealing, and the lighting and fog help create an atmosphere that complements the horror elements without relying solely on jump scares. Overall, **Goo Deer is a creative, enjoyable, and well-balanced indie horror experience**. The unusual concept is what initially caught my attention, but the gameplay and atmosphere are what kept me interested. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy management games with a darker and more unusual twist.
Goo Deer turned out to be a surprisingly refreshing mix of genres. On paper, running a shop for zombies while hunting mysterious deer sounds bizarre—and somehow it works remarkably well. The core gameplay combines store management with hunting. During the day you're responsible for keeping your customers supplied with freshly brewed Goo Deer, while outside the shop you venture into the wilderness to hunt the creatures needed for your recipes. As you progress, more recipes, equipment and mechanics gradually become available instead of overwhelming you from the beginning, making the learning curve feel comfortable despite the game's depth. Visually, the game uses a charming low-poly art style that actually reminded me a little of *Orcs Must Die!* The NPCs don't use real voice acting but instead communicate through amusing gibberish that occasionally sounds like actual words, adding a surprising amount of personality. The hunting itself is more challenging than I initially expected. Deer notice the player from surprisingly long distances, forcing you to either move very carefully or attempt long-range shots. Early on this can be difficult, but the upgrade system gives you something meaningful to work towards. I quickly found myself saving money for the rifle scope, which made progression feel rewarding rather than simply unlocking equipment for free. Another nice detail is that successfully hitting a deer isn't the end of the hunt. The body can be surprisingly difficult to locate in the tall grass, so remembering exactly where your shot landed becomes part of the experience. My first run ended after only three in-game days because I couldn't produce enough Goo Deer in time and my hungry zombie customers eventually tore me apart. Losing never felt unfair, though—it simply motivated me to start another run with a better understanding of how to manage my resources. Goo Deer is a creative indie title that successfully combines management, progression and light horror into something that feels genuinely original. I'm already looking forward to jumping back in for another run. --- Step deeper into the darkness — discover more horror gems and nightmares. 💀 Follow our curator page: Sanctum of Horror 🎮 Watch the horrors unfold live on Twitch 📺 Full playthroughs & reactions on YouTube
Huge thanks to the devs for gifting a key! It’s a brilliant twist on a shop simulator with fantastic horror elements. Loved streaming it and can't wait to play more. Definitely one to add to your list!
After Playing For 26+ Hours And Completing All In Game Achievements, I Did Really Enjoy This Game. There's A Couple Bugs Here And There But Other Then That, I'd Give It An 8/10!
So, so far after playing the game for about 8 hours on stream so far, i'm really enjoying the game, makes me want to try to some other hunting games, with the game still being early access, theres been a couple minor problems i've encountered, like a box gets stuck in your hands, or the game kicks you out of your pc and you become locked, thankfully a simple save and quit to menu fixes it, so hopefully those will be fixed in a future patch, leaderboards are kinda funky...I'm hoping for in a future update, you'll get the opprotunity to upgrade your rifle to something better for trying to take on Deerman, which, with a bolt action rifle is not ideal, found out the hard way...would love to see also the option to turn off perma-death to go back to a previous save, especcially if you want to just take on deerman, it takes a long time to make enough money again to get the upgrades to challenge him again, I guess it does give replay ability, but say you just want to try to beat deerman it'll take awhile... I can't wait to see where the game goes, what happens if you beat deerman, who knows, its exciting DrDerpPlays
"It is a must-play if you love horror titles like Buckshot Roulette, Night of the Consumers, or Voices of the Void that twist everyday workplace routines into a terrifying survival nightmare." It's Grate creation of VML Studio. I recommend for other All the Players. -Mr.365 SL-
Not too fond of the fact that the “save” feature to this game doesn’t work. You lose your progress instantly if you just leave the game. Which makes sense of why the top YouTuber who did complete this game had to 100% in one sitting. I thought I was schizo and this was only a me problem, until I watched over his first play-through and it happened to him. This game has the expected bugs a demo would have. It is a good concept and was fun to play nonetheless. Im happy I was one of a selected group who got to test the game.
