I used to play Golden Tee against my wife every time she dragged me to the bar. It was the only enjoyable part of going to the bar for me, we got sober over 20 years ago. I saw the new collection dropped and I wanted to buy the full size cabinet, however space was an issue, so being able to grab it on steam and save $470 and space was awesome. When we played at the bar she conveniently looked away during my turn knowing I was gonna whoop her and now when we play she can't pretend to not see what just happened. I do not have a track ball so I do not know if that's working well, I have been using a controller, but am thinking I may need to grab one soon, just not sure which one to get. also i only got 3 achievements left and am super pumped to keep playing!
Review from a Steam PC + X-Arcade XR Tankstick User The Good Trackball Integration Golden Tee Arcade Classics shines with a proper trackball. Golf and bowling feel natural, responsive, and true to their arcade roots, making the X-Arcade trackball a perfect fit. Authentic CRT Look The built-in CRT filters—with scanlines and curvature—nail the retro vibe. It blends beautifully with a classic arcade setup and shows the developers understand their audience. Strong Game Selection The classic Golden Tee titles are the clear highlights and are well-tuned for trackball play. Room for Improvement Limited CRT Options The filters are great, but more control over scanline strength, curve, and color would be ideal. No Modern Golden Tee A current version would’ve rounded out the collection and appealed to both new and returning fans. Inconsistent Trackball Support Shuffle Shot doesn’t feel as tight or responsive as the golf and bowling games. Missing Darts A darts game feels like an obvious and missed addition for trackball-based arcade play. Bottom Line Golden Tee Arcade Classics delivers a faithful arcade experience, especially with trackball hardware. The CRT visuals are a nostalgic win, and while there’s room to grow, it’s a strong package for retro golf pub/gaming fans

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I have a track ball set up and this is so fun to play with friends and family.
A game collection of Golden Tee that reminds me of my youth plunkin' quarters into these machines on Washington State Ferries. It's basic, yes, but it's a solid collection of the arcade cabs from the 90s and early 2000s that plays well with mouse, keyboard, and controllers. I haven't tried a trackball yet, so I cannot comment on how that feels, but I'm hoping it's got good support.
TRACKBALL SUPPORT IS BROKEN Move the trackball 2 cm and you swing the club harder than God. In-game trackball sensitivity settings are bugged and do nothing. Also, why is there still an added picture of a "simulated trackball" onscreen if I'm using a real trackball? I don't need a picture of a trackball if I have a real trackball in front of me.
Includes six games from the Golden Tee series + two from the same company (Incredible Technologies, Inc.) not related to Golf. The six golf games are very similar to each other, with the only apparent difference being the courses. Great collection, reasonably priced. I really liked the trackball emulation the Digital Eclipse team developed — especially since it works incredibly well with a mouse. However, I would like to highlight my opinion on things that could be better, in addition to mentioning defects (which are, for the most part, small). Suggestions: -More achievements — why not? :) It would make a big difference to include other games from the Tee Golf series, to add variety. Like: -Golden Tee Golf (1989/90) -Golden Par Golf (1992) -Golden Par Golf II (1992) -All Golden Tee Fore! Defects: -Little precision in Shuffleshot, but I don't know if it's from the controller emulation or if the original was already like that; -I don't have access to the flyers section because the button placed in this port doesn't exist on the keyboard I use (Brazilian Portuguese keyboard), so it would be very interesting if they added an option to change the keys.
It was worth ordering a trackball just for this collection.
As I suspected this is a golf game. Listen to US GOLF 95 and chill
The best bowling game on Steam
Loved Golden Tee growing up, even built an arcade cab myself with a trackball primarily for Golden Tee. So was super excited to see this collection. I debated which platform to get it on based purely on controls, but settled on PC (Steam Deck) knowing that the Steam Deck should be fun to use and if in time I decided to, it was the best option to buy an actual trackball for, Was not disappointed - a couple of control settings tweaks and you can use the Steam Deck trackpad as the trackball and it really does do a great authentic job. I'd suggest the most accurate trackball-like feeling outside of having an actual ball. The controls are really cleverly done, with the virtual trackball in game behaving (and in a nice surprise, sounding) like a real trackball. Its very authentic as I say and really does bridge the gap of bringing it out of an arcade cab to modern controls but still needing a lot of skill to be good or pull off intricate shots. Its not 100% perfect all the time, but I suspect with more practice that will improve. My only negatives; - Lack of variety - its just a LOT of Golden Tee (shock!). But what i mean is those games are virtually identical from the first to last. Look the same, sound the same, have pretty much exact same features and controls. There is some slight variety between courses and thats about it. - High scores dont seem to save? Unless I'm doing something wrong, but the stats/records post round arent stored. - Was looking forward to Shufflepuck and Bowling, but had a quick look at each and not been back To Improve: - People moan about the price, hasnt really bothered me, but yea, I guess for what it is, £25 is high - Would love SOME online features. Even if not online play, some sort of online leaderboard or other high score chase (although it would be nerfed by cheaters anyway so...) - Be nice if it kept some stats viewable outside of the game. Best rounds, longest drives etc. I appreciate that these are emulated roms basically and how hard that could be. Overall I've really been loving Golden Tee on the Steam Deck and thoroughly recommend it!
