About

Build up a fantasy city and fill it with hand-drawn characters, each with their own unique personalities and skills. Send them on quests to expand your influence and clear out nearby monster dens that threaten your city. Help them grow and evolve, all in the pursuit of gold!

Create a thriving city around monster-filled dungeons. Bring in wealth from exploring and dungeon delving, then use it to shape the town to your wishes. Add markets, taverns, gambling halls, and guilds to attract even more heroes to fight for your cause!
Gold-thirsty adventurers will come from all corners of the world. Humans, beasts, mothmen, the undead, and more may join your cause. Recruit them all, or only your favourites!
These adventurers won’t work for free, their loyalty lies with gold! You’ll have to recruit them with promises of gold and glory, then send them on quests to kill, defend, explore, and more.
Your pet may be filled with divine power, but it still needs guidance. Pet, brush, and discipline it so it can grow, evolve, and learn powerful spells!
Being near dungeons provides easy access to loot—but it also puts your kingdom at risk of monster attacks. Cast spells to help your heroes defend their home, level up, and unlock powerful new gear and abilities as your city continues to grow!

Game looked fun, but after multiple failed attempts it in only an hour or so, its just not for me. My last attempt all have is this rant - There appears to be no way to force any one to do a task that should be the most important task, even marking a quest as important and rising the quest reward far more then the quest should be worth. None of the adventures went to defend the castile from what started as a level 1 skeleton and became a level 15 because everyone ignored it! Placed a bounty on it, placed two defend quest next to it, marked defending the castile as important, no my 3 heroes and godbeast are off daydreaming!
Well its not often that Fantasy kingdom sim games get released but this is a gorgeous looking one, if you've played Majesty before you should have an easier time getting into this one but for beginners it might take losing some (or a lot) maps before one will get the hang of it. It does have problems with bugs, optimisation and that it probably should still be in early access. Hopefully those issues will be addressed i do still think its worth playing if you like these kinds of games. I really like the artstyle with the animation, the various units talking and the different songs that play, building your City/Village, putting down quests and casting spells, if you get into it time will fly.
honestly really fun, its confusing at the start but i learned after losing once. has a lot of potential for the future and the art is amazing
I enjoyed most of the ~35 hours so far, but I don't think I would recommend this game to most people. It's abundant in creativity and cool mechanics, but severely lacks polish. It doesn't feel like a premium product, but there is a lot of potential.
I will say. The Game is heavily carried by it's art. BUT the game is competent enough to keep me playing. It's a serviceable game as far as City Builders go. It has quite a few flaws that are irking, but you can see in the community notes that most my qualms are basically to be corrected in August. Which I will come back to update this then. The game has a weird pause everytime I break a swordstone which is used to let us see more of the map, and if you freely explore the map so you don't need those stones, the stone will reset your map progress on break then only light up the areas you are meant to find from breaking said stones. After awhile the characters kinda just stop doing anything. It's fixed by going to the main menu then back into game. Easy fix. But i'd like to not have to do that. I couldn't find the build hammer because it's blended into the frame of the ui on the bottom left corner of the screen. It'd be nice if it were more noticeable that's the build option similar to the decorative icons. Also I can't understand what any building really does in the building menu. If you don't unlock the building to read what they do, (in the conquest mode you unlock them, but then you just have a building that wasn't explained to you) you'll be lost. I can't really understand or tell if the characters really understand if the town is in danger sometimes. I think it'd be cool to be able to station them places, or to just manually click drag and control them. But it's super cool they can independently form their own parties. I also don't understand a lot of their stats, or who is capable of mining, or what. The game is Quite fun though! I wouldn't say it's amazing, but it's something that's so close to being special. I know it seems I'm complaining about the game. But I just want to point out the things that I feel prevent it from becoming a Great game. The devs look to update the game regularily despite the game being at a 1.0 release (and tbh I don't think this game is in a 1.0 release state). In my mind a 1.0 release state is a game that could be left with no further updates and still be good on it's own. If this game was left as is. I woulda refunded it at the 1 1/2 hour mark. If you wanna support indie devs i'd say this is worth the investment. If you are skeptical, wait for the august update THEN try it. As I HOPE that update which seems to target most my issues, I am putting my trust in it. Also all the girls are cute af
I start with that It's not a perfect game, but man I am having a blast with it... The devs first game and it's a banger, lacks some tooltips (Being implemented as I am writing this) and may be somewhat difficult to pick up at first, but don't get discouraged from buying it. - The performance could be improved, for what it is it doesn't run that good, expanding the map and adding units get me from 165fps to 30/50 at the end of the 8 days mission in conquest. - The art and music is blissful, can't wait to see what the devs have in storage for us, be it more updates/DLCs or other games
Fun game and addicting, needs a storyline though
TLDR: I haven’t found myself this upset at a purchase in awhile. This game is an incomplete buggy mess. Even if you can get passed all of the issues, you can do all there is to do in a few hours. The only reason I even have as much time as I do is because I got soft locked several times and had to start over. Save your gold gold and buy something else. Review- (First impression): I mean, I haven't gotten too into it yet, but it’s fun if you like a challenge, and the art style. There's two modes and a tutorial. The tutorial is a bit lax and cluttered, and the conquest mode is anything, but fun. I didn't dive deep so maybe it’s better as you get deeper, but currently I'm a bit over an hour into conquest. It slowly gets more fun it seems. The game is definitely best bought on sale, and you shouldn't go into this thinking it'll calm your nerves. I cant tell you how many times Ive already yelled at my screen watching these little guys go anywhere but where I need them to go. This is kind of an undercover tower defense game mixed with resource management. You're placing things in optimal spots to look out for incoming hordes or enemies, gathering loot and spending it carefully. I honestly just wish there was more initiative as the player. I feel like there's quite a few times where I'm stuck watching unable to do anything or unsure if my actions are making a difference. All that said, it is a neat experience. And I'm looking forward to seeing how much depth there is here, if it (hopefully) doesn't stop here. I will update my review when I find out. Edit: NOT recommended. The amount of times I've been softlocked in such a short amount of time. I don't know how this game went through three years of development without noticing the absolute plethora of bugs or strange balancing. Please, for the love of gold. Add some way to manually fix things or move citizens. Even if its a cheat. This is ridiculous. ALL my construction workers are stuck in a loop of trying to fix these fences. I cant break them either because wouldn't you know it, only they can. They run in circles, when I scare them away they run around the whole map back to the same spot. None of my buildings are being worked on, no other structures fixed. They just keep running in circles. Just like me trying to understand if anything I do can change the outcome of ending up glitched out or having terrible pathing with my "heroes" Edit 2: IT SOMEHOW GETS WORSE! If you manage to avoid all the bugs, or work around them, such as the cursor sometimes not working on certain spots or lines, your people getting stuck in one spot or in a looped animation, buildings not placing where they otherwise should, heroes going the wrong directions and incentivizing things that make no sense (I could go on and on really). If SOMEHOW you push through all of that, it wont matter anyways because the game begins to go slower and slower until youre inevitably at 1 frame per second and the game is unplayable. I suppose I beat it? Is that the end? It sure feels like it, since I'd gotten all there was, any reasonable perk, every possible upgrade with the right combinations of buildings shoved together, all the different types of people, and nothing could come close to destroying even one of my structures. Sounds like the end to me (I'd hate to call it yet another softlock). Which is a bummer since, I only got to day 15 before reaching that point. Its a nice concept, and a pretty art style. But for what I spent on it, I really wish I could get a refund.
the game great but made the same mistake a lot of majesty clones made! I cannot help but notice the greatest hero of majesty is missing! where are my town guards? they guarded my level two castle in majesty and my towers sure they died never leveled up but they bravely guarded my home when the hero were across the map! hero have a bad habit of being gone when you need them town guards don't. add them.
