Well, it's worth the price, so it's not bad for the money. I don't think anyone would mind spending that much on a hardcore adventure in the spirit of 90s games. It's like a classic Doom game, but with a sword. Overall, it's not bad
For other game reviews, please follow us at What The Game?
Like a game straight out of the age of original DOOM, Gold Dust brings a first person dungeon crawling experience to your screen. With it's old school appeal, many may find this game very appealing to relive some of the nostalgia fuel gameplay and visuals. Gold Dust doesn't present us with any sort of story. You hit start game and are dropped down into a dungeon with no context as to whats happening. Is there a even warlord who has stolen your princess? Are there clans filled with evil warlocks and necromancers raising an army of demons and undead? We have no idea. All I know is there are green sludge, skeletons and what seem to be armored robot knights trying to kill your dungeon crawling fun. The gameplay does not present any sort of new take on an oldschool formula, or any type new mechanics. Your character has a projectile and a sword and nothing else to speak of beyond that. As your projectile uses mana, you are forced into resource management at least a little bit, so there is a very small amount of thinking that has to take place here. As far as I have seen, there were no puzzles or anything of the sort standing in your way of progression. As a nostalgic game, Gold Dust would do well if it weren't for one glaring flaw. After a brief play period, there was a door I got to that just wouldn't open. I couldn't find any keys or hidden doors, and as the game goes, there is almost nothing I could have missed due to the area being very linear. I will admit that, sure it could just be a glitch, but upon retrying several times, the door simply won't open, which makes me conclude the game is broken or unfinished at this point. So, at this time I cannot suggest this game to anyone, but I would say that it would be a game worth giving a chance if this issue is resolved in the future for anyone looking for a fresh game with an oldschool appeal.
Игра по типу классического дума, только тут носимся по уровню с мечом и рубим каких то зеленых слизней. Еще бы оружий добавить по более, да монстров по разнообразнее.

Gold Dust is an asset flip made with the godawful Raycasting Game Maker engine used to generate cheap ripoffs of Wolfenstein 3D. Gameplay consists of simple single plane FPS shooting sprite based enemies on small 2D levels, just like Wolf3D. The Raycasting Game Maker engine is garbage. It has oversensitive mouse settings, so if you use the mouse to steer, you will just flip around endlessly with zero control. However, you must use the mouse to shoot, so the game is effectively unplayable. This is no different from any other game made with this engine. It's garbage. I used to think RPG Maker was the worse game construction kit for allowing talentless "devs" to make "games". Actually, it still is, no matter how bad or unplayable this trash is. Regardless, you can play Wolf3D for free, and it's better than this. An important note: KazakovStudios are known asset flippers and have previously taken other developers work and put it on Steam in an attempt to scam gamers and get paid for someone else's effort. One example of KazakovStudios doing this is Mini Car Money Chase, which is really the "Endless Car Chase Game Template" asset, written by the actual developers, Puppeteer. Asset flips are harmful to the gaming industry. They're nothing but cash grabs, and they harm genuine indie developers by reducing their visibility on Steam. Because this game has all the same low quality as an asset flip, as well as the other problems with it, it's impossible to recommend.
No se puede jugar porque resulta imposible el tema de controles y ese tipo de cosas y no se que hay que hacer en ningún momento.
Jogo simples e divertido, legal pra jogar de vez em quando.
