Godly Corp

[h1]Сын Surgeon Simulator и Octodad[/h1] Сразу скажу, игра мне ооочень понравилась. Это небольшой симулятор осьминога, проходящего испытательный срок при трудоустройстве в компанию под руководством самого Ктулху. В целом, это очень похоже на трудоустройство на первую работу в реальной жизни. Вам дают какие-то непонятные задачи, вы, не имея какого-либо опыта за плечами, приступаете к их выполнению. Изо дня в день задачи становятся всё более трудными и странными, но с ростом сложности растёт и ваш профессионализм. В этой игре вы НЕ увидите невероятной графики, НЕ услышите незабываемой музыки, и НЕ столкнётесь с реалистичной физикой. Это классический инди-проект. Но, не смотря на это, вы получите крайне интересное развлечение на пару-тройку часов. Всего в игре 14 миссий (рабочих дней), и что меня очень порадовало, так это разнообразие игрового процесса. Разнообразие удивляет ещё и тем фактом, что у вас будет буквально одна щупальца для выполнения всех задач. В процессе прохождения вам придётся шлёпать жуков, и стрелять из различных видов оружия, и поливать цветы, и летать в космосе, и многое-многое другое. Отдельно хочется выделить Достижения - их в игре 16. Лично я предпочёл читать описание каждого "ближайшего" достижения перед началом каждой новой миссии, чтобы дополнительно усложнять себе игровой процесс. В итоге, удалось получить все достижения за одно прохождение. Если вам захочется продлить своё удовольствие от игры, то могу порекомендовать просто пройти игру, а потом прочитать описания достижений, и приступить к их получению. Отсутствие русской локализации не будет являться барьером для прохождения, основные инструкции будут отображаться в графическом представлении, а обо всём остальном вы просто можете разобраться в ходе игры. Когда-то очень давно мне повезло купить этот шедевр за 19 рублей. Сейчас бы я взял эту игру и за полную стоимость (195 рублей). И не смотря на все баги, кривоватое управление и прочие возможные недостатки, по моему личному мнению, Godly Corp заслуживает высокой оценки, ведь от игрового процесса я получил желаемое удовольствие. It can be funny, frustrating, and challenging. I think the humour is its best quality. It truly tests your multi-tasking limits. Reminds me of: If you liked any of those surgeon simulator type games, you'll probably like Godly Corp. This is the perfect example of a game where I know it doesn't quite fit with what I can readily enjoy from a game, but I can tell that it is a good game that will appeal to the right people. Time, thought, and creativity have certainly been invested into Godly Corp, and it's without a doubt "unique" in its gameplay. You take the role of Cthulu (did I spell that right?), an Old God from the pages of H.P. Lovecraft, but rather than being the alpha and the omega of all time and being, you work a desk job taking care of planet earth in various ways. Swipe around with your tentcle, grab guns and shoot Japanese robots, water trees, and direct sunlight on or off of major cities. Knock memes off your desk, or squash cockroaches the size of Africa. You're given all sorts of crazy tasks like this, and you have to coordinate your movements well enough and fast enough to save the human race from extinction. A lot of "office worker" humour is present, as well as the obsurdity of planet earth sitting on a desk in a cubicle somewhere, etc. I had a few laughs with it, as well as laughing at my inability to get the tasks done properly more often than not. It's a really weird game to me, but maybe it's exactly the kind of innovation that others are looking for. I guess I've always been more of a 2D, 90's guy at heart... but either way, I can see H.P. Lovecraft getting a kick out of knowing his little-known works would one day still be inspiring oddities like Godly Corp, some 100 years after his writing was released.

A fun and quirky game that contains a load of interesting mechanics and funny moments. I've played early demos of this and there has a lot of detail gone in since then. The Octodads, Surgeon Simulators and I am Toasts will find a lot to love and explore here and the price is definitely a steal.
