What is more fun, is the added Subspecies DLC, creating a game that has a fantastic Full Moon Studios mascot ! Radu !!! If you like these type of games, to play for a few minutes and kill some teenagers as Radu or the other Legends. Then get it. Dude, Radu is the coolest mf in the game. Dude's got a sweet sword and a kick ass trenchcoat.

Played on Linux using Proton Experimental, it might work on other Proton version but i always default to Proton Experimental as it normally just works for me. UPDATE: After a while of playing (only happens when starting a new map) the game will drop FPS and need to quit game back to desktop and restart game, Not sure why and it's annoying. Yeah it's a Multiplayer Game, up to 5 Humans vs 1 Legend Monster and his minions A.I. Now the really good news is it has BOTS, Let me just say this again, "AMAZING A MULTIPLAYER GAME WITH BOTS" in 2022, and yes it works, Not perfect but playable, now here is the tricky bit to explain as i could not find a single server to test/play Multiplayer, Now the Question is......... Is the Game Dead?? or is this a Proton Problem?? BOTS still work in Multiplayer as well to fill in for missing people. So i had to play solo (offline) with....., Did i mention this game has BOTS, Yeah sorry about the BOT puns, it's just so rare these days, And yes you can play as a Human or as a Legend Monster, so that was cool, when playing as a Human with BOTS it does seem that there are no Legend Monsters but does have a pumpkin monster that might as well be a Legend Monster as he is hard as nails. Graphics are decent, Sound is good, Game Play is good, pick a map, select what you wanna be, Human or Monster, and either try to survive (Human) or go on an all out killing rampage (Monster). Did have some frame rate issues but turning off soft shadows/hard shadows gave me about 100fps more, so I'm guessing Proton was not a fan of how the Shadows work in this Unity Game, and not the first Unity game I've had with issues with soft shadows/hard shadows. Overall i do Recommend this Game, and if you can play Online with friends then I'm guessing it would be a blast, But still worth playing even in solo mode (offline) with the BOTS, best to get it on sale like RIGHT NOW as it's only 0.79GBP, But still worth the full price of 3.99GBP if you miss the sale.

Pretty cool on the whole. The legends are all quite different, each having a distinct look, and the cast are varied as well. Honestly, not all that bad, you'll definitely need a group of friends to get maximum enjoyment though.

Fun & jank. The glaring problem with this title is it's lack of playerbase.

This game is an absolute blast. You can tell that a lot of care has been put into the whole thing, from the great soundtrack, to the varied character designs with solid artwork. I can say with confidence that I've probably had some of the best moments from playing games in general while playing it with my friends. While it may look like there's never anyone online, go ahead and check out the Dev's discord and get a group together. While there are a few players that make the game un-fun for everyone involved, there is a chill group that just wants to play a game that feels straight out of Goosebumps or Creepshow, this game is practically dripping with the campy horror vibes that we all love. (Playing with proxy chat on adds even further) Highly recommend. Well worth the price!

You might not think it looks good (it's not super polished as it's made by 1 or 2 people), but there's a lot of charm to it, and if you can get a game going with friends you'll have a fun time. Especially with the proximity chat. Some nice homages to horror movies/franchises, especially if you're a fan of Charles Band/Full Moon stuff (e.g Puppet Master), since there's literally licensed characters in the game (might only be Subspecies). A lot of the characters feel like Spirit Halloween animatronics, or Goosebumps characters if you're into that. Definitely worth a shot, you can get it on sale for a whopping 99 cents.
