The game play is classic like Zelda I suppose, but it's not the gameplay that gets me. It's the awesome banging soundtrack in this. Absolutely one of the best in that era of gaming. 10/10 for the soundtrack alone. 8 out of 10 for the gameplay. And hey, it's free... free is free.

The visual effects and attractive designs really make you feel the atmosphere of the game. In addition to the lightning, the soundtrack completely immerses you in the game. Moving with the rhythm of the music in every battle is a really exciting experience. The visual quality of the game is mesmerizing. Character details, environment designs and effects are really pleasing to the eye. 🎶 😔 Of course, like every game, God of Thunder has some weaknesses. There could have been a bit more variety in the game. Different enemy types and more levels would have enriched the experience. Also, the game's difficulty balance can be a bit unbalanced in some places. However, that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the game at all! Best game according to my nostalgia

Nice Retro RPG

I played this shareware a lot back in the day and had a revisit in 2026. The fun holds up! I forgot the puzzles and they're pretty clever paired with a sort of non-linear exploration, also the humor, so it was quite replayable. Reminds me of Chips Challenge combined with Zelda. Keeping my eye out for a God of Thunder 2 ;)
