This game always reminded me of Happy Wars, so I like it.
GOCCO OF WAR is a multiplayer action game that immediately stands out because of its colorful personality and cheerful atmosphere. Instead of aiming for realism or intense military combat, the game embraces a playful futuristic setting where children participate in staged battles as part of an elaborate recreational activity. Developed with a strong anime-inspired aesthetic, the game combines cooperative missions, crafting systems, character customization, and accessible combat into an experience that feels lighthearted and welcoming from beginning to end. While it may appear simplistic at first glance, there is a surprising amount of content and progression hidden beneath its adorable presentation. The game’s strongest quality is its ability to create a fun and relaxing multiplayer environment. From the moment players enter the online hub, the world feels lively and social. Characters gather together wearing ridiculous costumes, oversized accessories, and creative combinations of equipment that make every player look unique. The atmosphere resembles a giant virtual playground where players are encouraged to experiment, cooperate, and simply enjoy spending time together. Unlike competitive online games that rely heavily on stress and ranking systems, GOCCO OF WAR focuses almost entirely on casual cooperative enjoyment. Combat itself is straightforward but entertaining. Missions place players into various battle scenarios where they fight waves of enemies, complete objectives, and collect materials for crafting. The controls are intentionally easy to understand, making the game highly approachable even for newcomers. Weapons range from melee equipment to projectile-based firearms, each with distinct attack styles and upgrade possibilities. Combat rarely becomes overly technical, but the fast pacing and constant action keep missions engaging. The game succeeds because it understands that accessibility can be just as important as complexity in cooperative multiplayer experiences. Customization is one of the game’s biggest attractions. Players can gather resources from missions and use them to craft a massive variety of costumes, accessories, and weapons. The amount of visual freedom available is impressive, especially considering the game’s relatively modest scale. Characters can be transformed into bizarre, stylish, or hilarious creations depending on player preference. This emphasis on self-expression adds a strong sense of personality to the experience and encourages players to continue grinding missions in search of new crafting materials and cosmetic rewards. The crafting and progression systems provide more depth than expected. Weapons can be upgraded and modified with different elemental properties, allowing players to adapt their equipment to various enemies and missions. The game also features an extensive badge system that grants passive bonuses and stat improvements, giving players additional goals to pursue over time. These mechanics help create a satisfying gameplay loop where every completed mission contributes toward improving a character’s overall strength and appearance. One of the most enjoyable aspects of GOCCO OF WAR is how strongly it emphasizes teamwork. Cooperative play feels natural because the missions are designed around players supporting each other against large groups of enemies. Whether reviving allies, distracting monsters, or coordinating attacks, multiplayer sessions often become chaotic in the best possible way. Playing alongside friends greatly enhances the experience, especially during higher-level missions where cooperation becomes more important. The game’s friendly design philosophy helps create memorable moments that feel more amusing than stressful. Visually, the game fully commits to its charming anime-inspired identity. Characters are designed with exaggerated proportions and expressive animations that perfectly match the playful tone of the world. Environments are colorful and imaginative, while enemy designs balance cuteness and absurdity in entertaining ways. The game may not possess cutting-edge graphics, but its artistic direction remains memorable because of its consistency and energy. Every aspect of the presentation feels intentionally designed to create a cheerful and carefree atmosphere. The soundtrack and audio design also contribute significantly to the overall experience. Music tracks are upbeat and energetic, helping maintain excitement during missions without becoming overwhelming. Sound effects during combat are satisfying and exaggerated, fitting the game’s cartoon-like style perfectly. Combined with the colorful visuals, the audio helps establish an environment that constantly feels optimistic and inviting. Despite its charm, GOCCO OF WAR does have limitations that become more noticeable over extended play sessions. Mission objectives can start to feel repetitive after many hours because the gameplay structure remains fairly simple throughout. Although the progression systems and customization options provide motivation to continue playing, the actual mission variety is somewhat limited. Players seeking deep storytelling, highly strategic combat, or large-scale competitive gameplay may eventually find the experience lacking in complexity. The game’s online population can also affect enjoyment. Since the title relies heavily on cooperative multiplayer interaction, a smaller active community may occasionally make matchmaking slower or reduce the social energy that the game depends on. However, for players with friends willing to join together, this issue becomes far less significant. The core gameplay remains enjoyable because of the strong cooperative mechanics and entertaining customization systems. What truly makes GOCCO OF WAR memorable is its sincerity and charm. The game never attempts to be edgy or overly serious. Instead, it embraces creativity, humor, and imagination with complete confidence. The concept of children treating futuristic battles as playful recreation gives the entire experience a uniquely wholesome tone that feels refreshing compared to many modern online games. Even when repeating missions or grinding materials, the game maintains a cheerful atmosphere that makes the process surprisingly relaxing. GOCCO OF WAR may not revolutionize the multiplayer action genre, but it succeeds remarkably well at delivering accessible cooperative fun with a strong sense of personality. Its combination of customization, social interaction, crafting, and fast-paced missions creates an experience that remains entertaining largely because of its charm and creativity. While repetitive content and limited gameplay depth prevent it from reaching the highest level of multiplayer titles, the game still offers a genuinely enjoyable adventure for players looking for colorful cooperative action with friends. Rating: 8/10
游戏在短流程内还不错,服饰可以用道具合成(能换装的游戏都是暖暖?大概),推荐有小型游戏群的人玩,打折时候很便宜,非常适合平常团建,能容纳32人的房间其实足够人数不多的小群体玩了
